April 5, 20205 yr Author It’s been one year since Kill This Love, come over to this special anniversary thread and share some thought on how the song has held up since its release! Just click on the gif above!
May 2, 20205 yr I hope so! How about some Girls Generation, 2NE1 or BLACKPINK (something not as obvious as 'Kill This Love' - although that got you kicked out last time, right?!) 'Flower Power' or 'I Got A Boy' for GG or 'I'm The Best' maybe for 2NE1, but these might be better being used later? In fact how would BTS - DNA do, do you think?
May 2, 20205 yr Author With Flower Power - would it be that much of a risk to send a Japanese single as the first choice? BP has a ton of choices, Boombayah/AIIYL could possibly do better, same for 2NE1 but with I Love You for a long shot I considered f(x), ITZY or LOONA but idk how much recognition they’d get compared to the normal K-pop titans
May 3, 20205 yr Boy With Luv! I’m an uncultured swine that’s the only song by a kpop group I can think of and only because it has Halsey  That and Kiss And Make Up
May 3, 20205 yr Go with a relatively popular track, but not too big (you'll need them later on) Boy With Luv could be used later! How about even Psy - Gentleman?
May 3, 20205 yr Author Go with a relatively popular track, but not too big (you'll need them later on) Boy With Luv could be used later!that makes me want to go for BLACKPINK but not one of their staple title tracks lmao, even Girls Generation - The Boys would work well See the interesting thing with k-pop is that the “relatively popular but not too big” track pool is still so huge and diverse that we’re still spoiled for choice
May 3, 20205 yr Author okay so this is my shortlist: BoA - Eat You Up KARA - Mr. (Japanese Version) Wonder Girls - Nobody SHINee - Lucifer 2NE1 - I Am The Best Girls Generation - The Boys f(x) - Electric Shock PSY - Gentleman EXO - Growl 2NE1 - Come Back Home CL - Hello Bitches BIGBANG - Bang Bang Bang PSY f/CL - Daddy BTS - Blood Sweat & Tears BLACKPINK - Playing With Fire BTS/Desiigner/Steve Aoki - Mic Drop iKON - Love Scenario K/DA - POP/STARS LOONA - Butterfly NCT 127 - Highway To Heaven BTS/Lauv - Make It Right MAMAMOO - HIP Red Velvet - Psycho ITZY - Wannabe any TWICE song each not too popular but at least known to non K-pop stans but encompassing a piece of modern K-Pop history. Collaborations with Western artists, international breakthroughs that made the group as known as they are today, viral memes, video game collabs, etc.
May 3, 20205 yr Ooh BOA might be a good choice tbh! But I think Psy - Gentleman (a song that might get even the casual of fans on board?) And perhaps ITZY due to its incredibly recent success in PFSC? (I would probably vote for the latter - but ngl I'd struggle with Psy, however this forum is more chart orientated so could play to it's favour) Im so nervous coz K-Pop did awfully last time with a song I assumed would be an easy and safe bet!
May 3, 20205 yr Author I thought the same with balancing chart fiend appeal and the more vocal members of Buzzjack when I sent Kill This Love :drama:
May 3, 20205 yr Maybe KTL was too new for people to properly appreciate? I imagine it'd do better this time round whenever it gets sent!
May 7, 20205 yr Author Well we're out on the first round again, which means y'all don't think K-pop should have been an artist forum :( but you can come check out BLACKPINK's comeback discussion thread here! http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=233711
