Wouldn't it be Darius on the tracks if hr eas ready to release it?? Zoe Birkett could sing them if he had just planned thr album, but not recorded it yet. It would be a great tribute, ans he would wnt it out therr I think, one way or another.

If it's appropriate to say. Someone has made an excellent point on Facebook about this interview which is something that has crossed my mind aswell if I'm honest. He used the phrase I've HAD an amazing life. He didn't say I HAVE an amazing life. Makes you wonder did he know something about his health and didn't tell anyone. Sorry I know that's speculation which I said I wouldn't do and I know I've had a go at other people for doing that for which I'm sorry.

If it's appropriate to post. Just heard on the grapevine that Darius was going to be in another musical. Someone on Facebook said it was in a newspaper today but I don't know what paper or what the musical is called. This is all just too sad :(

Tragic Darius was to star as Caesar

Much-loved singer and actor Darius Campbell, who was laid to rest in Glasgow on Thursday, was planning a sensational return to the West End stage.

I can reveal that the former Pop Idol contestant, 41, who was found unresponsive in a flat in the US earlier this month, had been invited to star as Julius Caesar in a lavish new musical, Cleopatra.

'I wanted him to play the male lead because of his tremendous talent and presence on stage - and that powerful voice,' his friend Rawaa Barnes tells me. 'I could think of no-one else who could capture

the charisma and majesty of Caesar, who could charm anyone'.

Rawaa, who lives in Chelsea with her banker husband, Nicholas Duffy, has written the libretto and score for Cleopatra. She adds of Darius: 'They don't make them like that any more. Handsome and 6ft.4ins

he was perfect for the role and was very much looking forward to returning to the London stage.' :cry:

 

I still don't believe that he has gone!! He had so much more to give and I really thought we would all be supporting him all the way to the top! :cry:

Thanks for finding this. Still can't believe what's happened myself. None of this is making any sense. He had everything to live for but may he rest in peace. 😞

If it's appropriate to post. This is interesting and a nice thought in D's memory. Maybe it's something his family want to arrange so the fans can pay their respects and celebrate D's life and how wonderful he was. 2 weeks later and still doesn't feel real. Can't shake the feeling that something is amiss with it all. Maybe it just hasn't sunk in yet that he really is never coming back 😟

If it's appropriate to post? Sorry this is a bit random and not that important I guess but according to the papers D made a bid to buy part of Celtic rangers just before he died. The only important thing about this is that it says this information has been said in an American court so does that mean that the inquest has started and it's in America? 🤔

The article the other day was actually someone saying in COURT that D leaked information to his cousin that someone tried to SECRETLY sell off part of Celtic rangers. The club have dismissed claims D leaked any information at all saying the person in court is just using it as a distraction to defer from any wrong doing on their part at the club. I think they only brought D into it because he supposedly worked at the club at the time. How dare they use D's name in this. The poor man has tragically died recently leave him to rest in peace and think about his poor family. They are going through enough at the moment without reading stuff like this and other articles. 😡 this is today's article if it's appropriate to post.

Not that it's any of our business to know really. It's only his familys business really to know the cause of his death but If it's appropriate to post the official toxology report of D's untimely death has appeared in the news today https://www-manchestereveningnews-co-uk.cdn...mpbell-24983346 It states in another paper that the drug was his medication he was talking for his back and neck trouble after being in a car accident a few years ago. Just to be clear it was his prescribed medication he was taking and there was no note or anything so it has officially been deemed COMPLETELY ACCIDENTAL! And apparently he was living near the hospital in Minnesota to receive extra treatment for his pain :( . At least we now know the truth about how he died. His family have sent their thanks to everyone for their love and kindness but still ask for privacy at this time. Love and thoughts to his family :(
