Chibnall seems to have confirmed too that

Robert Glenister is playing Thomas Edison and Goran Višnjić is playing Nikola Tesla

, both in the same "irresistible" episode with "really great monsters". Intriguing!

He's also said that some episodes in series 12 will have pre-title sequences, but some won't.

I hope she leaves then so we can get rid of the worst companions in Who history tbh. It might be the only way to get rid of them.
Anjli Mohindra is guest starring this series. It’s just a shame it probably won’t be a reprise of Rani from Sarah Jane Adventures.

Seems Chibnall now has a writing credit on this episode. Maybe an indication that he's trying to tack his name onto what will be the highlight of the series, a la Rosa?

New trailer for the second half of series 12:

I must say, this has made me even more excited than I already was! Hopefully the shot of Gallifrey means we're not done exploring what's going on there this series either! *.*

Episode 7, written by Charlene James, is titled

Can You Hear Me?

. Interesting...

Not sure if anybody else has seen the rumours already, but Tosin Cole has been cast as the lead in an American drama series (god help them), so we're left wondering whether he'll be leaving at the end of series 12.

Personally, I really hope so. The only problem that arises from that is how Graham stays on if that's the case. As much as it'd be sad to say goodbye to Yaz given she's had next to no time to develop on her own, and being the only one with the most potential of the three, maybe getting rid of all three would make more sense, and having a brand new companion for series 13?

just the Doctor and Yaz would be good I think, it definitely worked better having just one companion, or two at the most. would be great news if this meant Ryan leaves this series anyhow.

I just want a clean slate for companions and definitely just the one companion next time. Never seen anything as lifeless as the current characters, they’re written so badly.

Oh no! Those poor people :( Haven't they suffered enough with Trump, McConnell, and Drake/ pop brat Justin Bibber dominating the charts?! We sent them Farage and now we send them the worst actor on tv to star on one of their shows?! Oh no. He may as well just carry his script around and read from it. It'd be just as believable as his performance right now! He really takes you out of the show every time he opens his mouth. Absolute plank of wood! Well, bad news for them is good ness for us, as surely that's him gone?! I reckon he was auditioning for other series as he knew he'd be getting the axe sooner rather than later on doc who with how wooden his performance is!

Hopefully Captain Jack is next season's companion, or just Yaz. Imagine if Bill shows up as the lone Cyberman though and puts them all to shame...

Also, not sure I trust him about the multiverse. It's got to be that. If it's the other spoiler I've seen online, then omg  It will get axed.

Seems like

the 'Lone Cyberman'/Cybermen might not be appearing in the finale after all as the guest cast for episode 8, by Maxine Alderton, has been announced and it all ties up with Cybermen seen filming that episode, etc

. :o
