Rumour is that it is gonna be M-Town. I’m searching for hotels over the border in Germany with free cancelation
Duncan Laurence has been spotted with a TV crew in Maastricht today...

Apparently he was in Rotterdam a few hours later or is going to be during this week

Sounds to me like he’s filming an announcement video in each city, and then of course only one will eventually go live

Wiwibloggs are reporting that the host broadcaster has requested additional details/plans from each city as it’s such a tight race

Was backing Maastricht. Can now cancel that hotel booking in Germany for Eurovish

That's just so basic of an error

UNLESS, it's so basic that they're double bluffing us.

Lmao it says maastricht 2020 on the web page now. Probably damage control

What kind of betrayal booking in Germany .

Go Rotterdam :w00t:

12th, 14th & 16th May

Got so excited watching that video even if I was 99% sure of what the outcome would be at the end

Not really relevant to 2020, there's just nowhere else relevant to put it.

I was in Austria on a work trip yesterday and in the taxi the Radio 1 equivalent national radio station was just casually playing Euphoria in amongst other current songs and hits from the last few years.

Oh to live in a country where Eurovision entries aren't blacklisted by radio!

I guess it was a proper mega hit in Austria mind, but I can't imagine hearing it on any major UK radio station now...

Funnily, I'm in Sweden this weekend for a friend's wedding. We put on the radio in our AirBnB and Victor Crone came up with 'Storm'.

Now I know Sweden is mad for it and Victor is Swedish himself, but I didn't expect a low-ranking Eurovision hit from Estonia to still be on the radio 4 months after the Final!

Jon Ola Sand will be stepping down as Executive Supervisor after Rotterdam.
He had a good run, he'll have been with us for more contests than Svante was so I feel as if this is the right time to hand over the reigns. I just hope they don't go super predictable and choose Christer Björkman to take over - the other suggestion I've seen is Sietse Bakker who is Executive Producer for the 2020 contest (as Jon Ola was in 2010 before taking up the Supervisor role the year after) and was previously Executive Supervisor for the Junior contest for a couple of years.
I seem to recall an interview a few years ago where Christer said he wouldn't like the top job as its 'boring'. But things change and with his Melfest retirement around the corner who knows.
