NMF

1. Ed Sheeran ft. Khalid - Beautiful People

2. Ellie Goulding & Juice WRLD - Hate Me

3. Dr Vades & Kamille - My Love

4. Felix Jaehn & Calum Scott - Love on Myself

5. Unknown T & AJ Tracey - Leave Dat Trap

6. Anton Powers ft. Brenelda Depasois & K-Klass - Let Me Show You

7. Kygo & Whitney Houston - Higher Love

8. Conor Maynard - Hate How Much I Love You

9. K-Trap - Big Mood

10. Neck Deep - She's a God

Of course Ed and Khalid are number 1 on NMF, TTH and HH. Video in 2 hours.

it's almost gonna be too easy for Ed with all that support

besides Ed at #1 and Ellie-Hate me, HH also added Nicki Minaj - Megatron, Marshmello - One thing right, Y2K - Lalala

Stormzy-Crown is track #4 now... while Senorita is still around 20-ish :/

There is no way with the video streams and all this support and low sales all around that Ed and Khalid won't be number 1 this week.

agree, wish Spotify were given the same treatment to others too, not just Ed

True

Spotify truly need to start updating their playlists more, there's so many songs that have peaked on streaming and downloads yet continue to be incredibly high. It's just making everything so stale and a lot of new artists / new hits are struggling down towards #50 on the playlist because it's so dominated by duplicate songs or old songs.

01. Ed Sheeran - Beautiful People

02. Mabel - Mad Love

03. Martin Garrix - Summer Days

04. Katy Perry - Never Really Over

05. Ellie Goulding - Sixteen

06. Stormzy - Crown

07. Shawn Mendes - If I Can't Have You (Replace with Senorita)

08. Avicii - SOS (Same as Shawn, why is a previous single so high?

09. Taylor Swift - You Need To Calm Down

10. Mabel - Mad Love (Same two songs top 10?)

11. Jax Jones - All Night

12. Ed Sheeran - Cross Me

13. Meduza - Piece Of Your Heart

14. Lewis Capaldi - Hold Me While You Wait

15. Katy Perry - Never Really Over (Again doesn't need two songs in the top 15)

16. Jess Glynne, Jax Jones - One Touch

17. Billie Elish - Bad Guy

18. Mark Ronson, Camilla Cabello - Find U

19. Stormzy - Vossi Bop

20. Taylor Swift - You Need To Calm Down (Move this one towards the bottom if the other is so high)

^guess you include vertical videos,

but not everybody sees them, right?

I don't see them myself either on laptop or phone but guess it's cos I have free Spotify/nonPremium

Today's update

8 Taylor

9 Katy Perry

I don't think it matters, I know with free spotify you can see / view videos? I have Spotify on works computer and it's free and I can view the videos.

It really frustrates me that Spotify could be doing so much to push listeners towards newer songs but they don't do it.

It's simple business logic. Push the songs that more people are listening to = more ch-ching.
Hot Hits is not the only playlist Spotify makes. It's the most popular one for a reason. It's not Spotify's fault that people's music tastes don't change as quickly as chart fans want them to.
It's simple business logic. Push the songs that more people are listening to = more ch-ching.

But aren’t more people listening to them because Spotify are pushing them. Pretty sure Spotify has the ability to make more commercial songs into hits if they push them hard enough
