Congrats to Niall!

It certainly feels a little weird that this album has a #1 peak while Fine Line 'only' managed #3, particularly as it seems very likely that Fine Line will go on to be the best selling solo 1D album. It's also interesting to note that Niall's sales to be #1 are a few hundred less than Louis sold to reach #4 (I appreciate sales will have been lower last week because for obvious reasons).

Niall actually did well to reach 14,300 because the mids projected him to end up selling 12,000-ish.

His promo options were cut short and with everything going on sales were affected, hopefully the album can go gold eventually.
Thankfully still top 5 here in Ireland on its third week it's down 2 to number 5, number 34 in the uk.

Niall's cancelled his 'Nice to Meet Ya Tour 2020' tour -

Given the unprecedented circumstances I have decided to not move forward with the 'Nice To Meet Ya' World Tour this year.

This was a difficult decision, but the well-being of my fans and touring family is always my top priority. Not being able to tour for what is effectively most of 2020 just didn’t feel right and I’m so sorry to all you amazing people who bought tickets. I look forward to being able to bring new music and a new tour for all of my fans around the world in 2021. I want to announce new dates soon but I don’t think it’s fair on you guys to do so until the dust has settled and things have gone back to normal. For now, all tickets purchased will be refunded.

I am going to focus on writing and recording more in order to be back touring next year with more music to play for you all. As you all know touring and having the fortune to play in front of all of you beautiful people is the reason I love my job and my life. I cannot wait to be back . For the time being, please stay safe everyone.

Love You All,

Nialler

Unfortunate for him and his fans, but sensible of course. Interesting decision to cancel Europe considering those dates weren't taking place until October to December. Some tours have been rescheduled to take place during that time (such as The Pussycat Dolls, moved from April to October). I suppose it's better to be cautious in these times of uncertainty, perhaps PCD will end up having to reschedule a second time.

I guess, even if we are back to normal by then, it's going to be such a competitive time that some venues are just going to be fully booked.
Its disappointing its cancelled but its the right call. With him writing new music the album may get a re release later in the year to push for sales.i wonder should he push more on social media to try and get interest in the album.
Really disappointed with how fast the album is falling, number 53 in the mids today, i wonder is it becuase its been given hardly any promo due to covid 19 or are people just not overly interested in the album? It is really going to struggle at this rate to even go silver.
