September 11, 20204 yr I actually watched the first 20-ish minutes of the first episode, it looked like a good diverse cast! You'll have to let me know if this is any good, it would be a big investment to get caught up - but not much on these days lol It’s literally just started this week on ITV2 UK pace on Monday if you wanted to catch up and watch ? And I believe it only started like 2 weeks or so ago in the USA so you wouldn’t be that far behind .
September 11, 20204 yr Episode 17 Tonight in the US, but I think I can probably catch up quite easily. But HOW are Carrington and Johnny 22 and 23?!? I feel they look the same age as me, and I'm 33  Johnny is *.* however. Not too impressed with Carrington. He seems like a major douche.
September 11, 20204 yr Alright. I thought since this is basically filmed at a Hotel in Vegas it wouldn't work - but it actually works 100x better than Fiji last year where it rained the entire time and they never went to the Beach. They should actually use this location for any season moving forward (but they won't because once Nightclubs open again it wouldn't be possible). What any US Reality Show lacks compared to its superior UK counterparts is there's no banter between the couples. I'm sitting watching Carrington on his date in Episode 2 and it's literally the most boring conversation I've ever witnessed on Love Island... And they're all kinda like that. This cast (so far) also seem SUPER serious, educated and reserved. We need lighthearted friendships like Chris/Kem or the genuinely funny (and sorry, kinda thick) cast members like Shaughna, Maura and Olivia. I haven't laughed once in the 2 hours I've seen so far.
September 16, 20204 yr I've started watching season 2, and am up to date (with UK pace), and I'm loving it so much  Obviously it's not any different to the UK format, but idk something about it just feels very refreshing and a lot more relaxed than the UK version? It being in Vegas too has kept me interested, loving all the shots of the hotels, etc trying to remember places I've been. There seems to be a lot more flip-flopping when they come to their decision making for the recouplings though - I've been shocked by 2 out of 3 so far now, one in a good way (Moira) and one in a very bad way (Caleb). I liked Justine in the beginning and felt like she just needed a break, but now she's irritating and isn't coming across well at all. I felt very sad for Rachel there when that all happened. :( Mackenzie is also down there as a least favourite, but I feel her and Connor are just as bad as each other? He needs to tell her to back off a bit, and grow a pair of balls. Kierstan/Carrington (let us P R A Y Carrington sticks by her) and Cely/Johnny are by far my favourites. Moira sucks. That's all. If this is what I think it’s about she absolutely made the correct decision. :o
September 16, 20204 yr I’ve caught up to the USA pace so I won’t spoil too much but I’ve really been hooked on this. Mackenzie is a whole train wreck and a mess . Justine and Cely are my favourites love there friendship . Justine and Caleb atm I think are the one’s to beat love them together right now Cely and Johnny I think would have won if Johnny didn’t completely blow it in Casa Amour I still think him and Cely will make the final though Edited September 16, 20204 yr by troylovesmusic
September 16, 20204 yr RE: Moira, her personality irks me. I also don't think she handled the breaking up with the hot Tattoo guy (James?) well at all. She got off easy dumping him for Calvin because no other girls came in right away to steal Calvin. I do however see Moira/Calvin as a better fit because they are both BORING AF. I only really tuned into this because I saw they were doing Casa Amore - but, that wasn't the right call either. I think this is like Episode 16 and it's WAYYYYYY to early to be throwing in more people. I feel like all the drama we got in the first 15 Episode was 5 Days of Love Island UK. Also - not a huge fan of the casting. I LOVE CBS for all the diverse casting they have done on their Reality Shows as of recently, however, all the guys are a literal copy and paste of eachother. All built. All muscular. All personal trainers apart from a few. It's like they've copied and pasted a template of a hot guy and colored it in. Diverse casting is so much larger than the color of someone's skin. I do love Mackenzie tho. SO MESSY. So entertaining to watch. Everyone else is just a snoozefest.
September 17, 20204 yr Moira sucks. That's all. Jesus f*** she just keeps getting worse and worse. Why exactly does Calvin owe you a conversation when you also chose someone else? And you're going to cry about it. TWICE? Get off my screen.
September 18, 20204 yr Jesus f*** she just keeps getting worse and worse. Why exactly does Calvin owe you a conversation when you also chose someone else? And you're going to cry about it. TWICE? Get off my screen. I don’t see how you find Moira so annoying but not Mackenzie tbh  I dunno maybe cause I’m watching at US pace but Mackenzie although is kind of entertaining is unbearable atm .
September 18, 20204 yr Oh, don't get me wrong, Mackenzie is annoying. Far more annoying than Moira. But I've gotten a chuckle or two out of MacKenzie a few times. Can't say the same about Moira.
September 18, 20204 yr I don’t see how you find Moira so annoying but not Mackenzie tbh  I dunno maybe cause I’m watching at US pace but Mackenzie although is kind of entertaining is unbearable atm . I'm just about caught up (Episode 21). MacKenzie is a grown up Angelica from Rugrats! My favorite couple by FAR is JUSTINE AND CALEB  Edited September 18, 20204 yr by Aaron.
September 20, 20204 yr I'm just about caught up (Episode 21). MacKenzie is a grown up Angelica from Rugrats! My favorite couple by FAR is JUSTINE AND CALEB  There my favourite couple by FAR it’s there’s to lose in my opinion.
September 21, 20204 yr Episode 22: So we lost MacKenzie. She's a great RTV character, one of the best this year. But Love Island wasn't the right show for her to be on clearly  - I will miss her! Also - I've seen Noah very recently (within the last week) in Gay Porn  :o I've read he's been "removed" from the show and his profile has been scrubbed from the CBS website. Who cares tho. It's 2020. There's a huge straight presence in Gay Porn - Noah should be celebrated, not penalized. But, big mess up on CBS Casting  Edited September 21, 20204 yr by Aaron.
September 25, 20204 yr 5 couples left and there’s one more week left of this USA pace. Surely Justine and Caleb have to win but I feel like the producers I pushing Cely and Johnny to win. I like Cely a lot but Johnny shouldn’t win . Edited September 25, 20204 yr by troylovesmusic
September 30, 20204 yr The finale is today USA pace ! Unless there’s some sort of voting fix with the votes I’ll be shocked if Justine and Caleb don’t win and there the rightful winners imo . I think it will go 1st Justin Caleb 2nd Cely and Johnny 3rd Moira and Calvin 4th Laurel and Carrington
October 2, 20204 yr I actually really enjoyed this series it was better the the winter UK Series imo . Justine and Caleb won the rightful winners we love to see it !.
October 14, 20204 yr I fell behind on this, I already know who won however. They're really gonna drag out this ending, aren't they? I'm on Episode 32 and the final recoupling was a few episodes before and there's still another 3 episodes to go. Why? Anyways - KUDOS to the winners, much deserved! Good series for sure, definitely better than Season 1. But a definite chore to watch at times.
November 19, 20204 yr Season 3 Confirmed, currently accepting application s. Good decision! I can see this doing well again next summer. Edited November 19, 20204 yr by Aaron.
January 27, 20214 yr @1354507282764025860 Ooo awsome! Also Caleb and Justine broke up. Apparently there was some drama behind that.
January 27, 20214 yr Connor and Mackenzie are still together - the true winners of the season  Hyped for the next season! This last one was first US season I properly enjoyed (and even more so than the winter UK Love Island)
