Agreed. But I assume/hope the re-release will be a separate release on Spotify.

Wiki does say 9 but it misses off Electrcity, No Lie and One Kiss (maybe bc she wasn’t lead artist on those) but they are on the album.

 

I assume it could be separate although I imagine it would chart with the original the way her debut albums re release did. Another reason why I love the original of Future Nostalgia though is that there wasn’t any collabs on the album and none of the tracks (in my opinion) needed any so I hope the re release is more of that and isn’t heaps of collabs.

Although I'm not a fan of adding songs into a previously released album, I'm glad that she pulled a Lorde (when the remix of "Homemade Dynamite" was added as the last song of Melodrama) instead of Britney (when the version of "Slumber Party" featuring Tinashe replaced the original solo version in Glory on digital and streaming platforms).

I wouldn’t say putting a remix of her own song on the end of her album on streaming platforms was “doing a Mabel”.

Mabel has become the most notorious for it though with her now never-ending debut album :')

IIRC it would mean that they would no longer count towards her debut album tho?

At least with Dua, people are actually buying her album and her albums always done decently on Apple Music too so people were always listening to Future Nostalgia in full anyways (the original length of the album probably also helped too).

 

With Mabel she may be smashing streams because of adding every song onto the album but she’s never anywhere to be seen on Apples albums streaming chart or the sales one :lol:

Streams count to any studio album the song features on, but only one hits compilation (the one with the highest pure sales)!
