As the title says, what got you into Ellie’s music? For me, it was definitely Starry Eyed. That song is pretty much the song that defines my childhood, crazy how it’s almost 10 years old now. :mellow: Another thing for me was that she has the voice of an angel and it’s very distinctive. Most people would know it was her if you played them one of her songs.

 

How about you? Did you enjoy listening to Ellie right from the start or did it take you a while to get into her?

 

Your Song got me into Ellie!! I really liked her cover after not being into Starry Eyed (and not hearing any of the other singles). I previewed Bright Lights on iTunes after buying Your Song and got the whole thing on a sale price :wub: never looked back, I quickly became obsessed!!

'Under The Sheets' and the Sound of 2010 hype got my attention right away, but she didn't fully win me over until 'Lights' became a single in 2011, and then watching that defy all odds to be a #2 hit in the US sealed the deal.

I kind of liked the first few Lights singles but I wasn’t overly enthusiastic. Your Song grabbed my attention more. She truly won me over with Anything Could Happen & Figure 8 💕
