First time a spoken word track has appeared in the top 200 out of album 'skits'? :P

 

There was an entirely spoken interlude track on Stormzy's debut album that charted in the official top 100 (#63 on Spotify).

A little bit disappointed Chance The Rapper couldn’t manage any in the top 50 (or the top 200 apparently) :o

None of Chance's songs as lead artist have made any impact in the UK ('I Might Need Security' is his only top 100 hit apart from features and that peaked at #94) - I suppose that is the same situation as Tyler, The Creator but it doesn't really feel like there was as much hype for this Chance album. Kinda surprised he has nothing in the entire top 200 I guess.

 

Should do much better in the US obviously, the Spotify release of his ancient mixtape the other week did pretty much as well as Drake's 'So Far Gone' (whereas it didn't even go top 100 here).

Liam Gallagher comes in at #68, The Chainsmokers, ILLENIUM & Lennon Stella #105, NF #142, Mabel #165, Majid Jordan #170 and AJ #172. The 1975's rise is fairly limited despite being #1 on NMF, it's now #102.

Wasn't Chance's album released quite late on the day? It might not have had enough time to have a proper impact. He has nothing in the US top 200 either.

Chance the Rapper did indeed do much better in the US, new entries at #12, #15, #18, #29 and #39 as well as loads more outside the top 50.

3 Nights is up to #8!

 

Strike a Pose also reaches a new peak at #14, so does Ransom at #23, Sorry at #33, Hate Me at #47, Outnumbered at #49, as well as a few more outside the top 50. Chance the Rapper does now have some songs in the top 200 too, All Day Long and Hot Shower at #170 and #180 respectively.
