July 5, 20196 yr I'd assume she would've licensed her music to Big Machine to stay in control of the masters of her new music. In all honesty, I don't get the big deal - they funded those recording sessions, her career and put a lot of work to put her on the map. She's not stopped from performing the songs, she's not stiffed from earning money from the songs and she could even re-record them if she likes. She just doesn't control the original recordings. Yes, on some level I'm sure that's upsetting/annoying, but it could be a lot worse. She walked away from Big Machine with a networth of $350 million, some people walked away from their record labels completely broke and earning nothing from royalties etc. I don't think Big Machine did her dirty. THIS. Big Machine don't owe her a THING. She signed a deal. Her label delivered & made her a star. Most artists don't own their master recordings. What's her problem? She seems in love with playing the victim lately. She needs to calm down. Edited July 5, 20196 yr by Voodoo
August 22, 20195 yr So she's started all this drama for nothing :') Well... I’m sure a lot of people will download the music that has been re-recorded... especially because of all the controversy... so I guess it was pretty clever really $$
