It’s been a huge west end hit as The Play That Goes Wrong and we’ve had 2 TV specials (A Christmas Carol and Peter Pan) previously but now BBC One has commissioned a 6-part series to be filmed in front of a live audience. It’s so clever and funny I’m glad it’s coming back onto our screens.

I saw one of the TV specials. A whole series should be good.

It was actually commissioned back in February, and filmed in March, so it shouldn't be too long before it's on TV!

Are they the same people that did the Comedy About A Bank Robbery play? That was absolutely brilliant. Saw it in London a couple of years back and have never laughed so much!

Starts December 23rd with a Christmas special followed by the full series from January 3rd

Well, that was fun. I'm a little disappointed, though, that nobody uttered the line "Not so much a unicorn, more like a semicorn".

Absolutely loved it! Was dying of laughter at some parts.

 

Can't wait for the rest of the series to air, and I'd love to see them live sometime.
