November 15, 20195 yr I think this deserves its long run at No.1, it's a huge song that I think will be remembered in the future and would be at the top now even if it was on ACR such is its dominance. It feels like one of the biggest chart toppers in a while to me. I agree. I do like it quite a lot so I'm probably a bit biased but I think it's one of the more distinctive number ones of recent years. It's been number one on sales as well as streaming for quite some time now so it's difficult to argue that it wouldn't have been a huge multi week success however the charts were compiled.
November 18, 20195 yr The fact THIS is holding off Dua's far more superior song has instantly made this more annoying to me. I'm not even a big fan of this song, being in Australia I'm actually totally done with it now BUT it's a much better song than Dua's average comeback track.
January 13, 20205 yr You would got long odds of 250/1 I reckon for this to break the record for the most weeks at #1 in a row for a female artist in the UK.
January 20, 20205 yr Just noticed this is STILL #1 in Australia, 24 weeks now. Wonder if it can make it Half a year?
January 21, 20205 yr Author Not consecutive though, she lost it to Mariah Carey over Christmas before swiftly taking Australia back as hostage
February 11, 20205 yr Top 5 officially in the US finally. Also tied with Rockstar for the longest running number one on WorldWide Spotify
February 11, 20205 yr Kind of surprising that, considering it was hostaged at #2 for over 2 weeks by Shawn Mendes & Travis Scott before getting there in the first place, could easily have the record outright otherwise.
February 11, 20205 yr It probably still will get it, it already returned for one extra day since Roddy first overtook.
