Finishing in 2nd is 'Wake Me Up'. The song was the first single off 'True' and became the biggest song of his career as well as one of the UK's biggest songs of the entire decade, selling over a million downloads and over 2 million units counting streaming equivalent sales.

 

 

The winner however is 'Levels' which became his first top 10 hit in the lead role (following his joint credit on 'Collide') and one of the biggest club crossovers of the decade. It sampled vocals from Etta James and was involved in a chart battle with Flo Rida who used the same sample, a battle Flo won however this sold better in the long term. It wins having had two fifths of the vote and is my ideal winner, so yay for taste prevailing. :cheer:

Overall these were pretty good results!

I think some of these results have been the worst I've ever seen on this site, although I do agree we have the correct winner and it's a good top 8.

My favourite Avicii song 'You Make Me' went out far too early but I'm happy that my 2nd favourite is the winner! I'm pleased with how 'Seek Bromance' performed too.

Wake Me Up is too high tho tbh

Levels is obviously the best song but Wake Me Up lyrics 'So wake me up when it's all over, When I'm wiser and I'm older' translates perfectly my Avicii's feelings since April 2018. :(

I was very impressed that most rounds when I voted, 'Levels' didn't have any votes at all even when 15-20 people had voted and/or every other song had multiple votes. It truly dominated these polls!
