Looking likely this has stalled on US radio, the UK radio on the other hand *.* A song with miley and dua shouldn't be struggling to go top 80 on US radio, it's absolutely ridic, I'm guessing they will put more focus into single three, it's a shame because a live performance of them would have went viral.

Miley deserves a better label, hopefully it at least manages a new peak.

It's picked up again on US Radio! :w00t:

Disappointed by its performance in the USA and it truly could have been a huge hit had Miley’s label bothered with radio Airplay and payola.

Hopefully one day we will get a live performance

it's also not a good song so perhaps that's why it's failing to take off

^^

Midnight Sky didn't do much in US either, so definitely there is some lack of promo from Miley's label (or Miley herself, who knows!!!).

True, but Midnight Sky at least managed to do better and it was also a belter of a song.

Prisoner isn't that good and Dua isn't strong enough a name yet to pull a song w/o promotion (she's very successful yes but she's not that consistent yet in the US) and Miley well.. people are indifferent towards her most of the time.

Prisoner may have done a bit better with promo, but it's not enough to be good w/o promo.

I disagree. Whether the song is good or not is entirely subjective.

Midnight Sky peaked as high as it did in the US also thanks to her label going all out promo wise for its first week and then it fell 14-41 in the second week. It had a radio deal, VMAs performance, Jimmy Fallon performance.

Prisoner didn't have a radio deal, and it got caught up in a month of Christmas after Miley’s album release and her label haven't bothered with it since

Midnight Sky did not have a radio deal, did you not see it's struggle?

Miley's label have really failed her as have radio it's such a shame.

It 100% had a radio deal in its first week!

Midnight Sky was getting 300-400 spins a day at pop radio alone during its first week and was at #26 Pop and #22 Hot AC after only a few days

Fairly sure it has a first week radio deal as it was getting really decent plays and adds for a song in its first week of release- it all went down from there but had already secured its peak

It seems very strange how the label just let this happen, while it had the potential to be massive. I still would not call it a flop, but it has definitely underperformed :(
