#57 says it all, doesn't it?

"You say you played at Reading then you chart at 57"

Say it, don't spray it Cheryl.

I remember the last time I went there I was confused thinking I’m sure some people aren’t here anymore like Leona Lewis for instance doesn’t have one anymore. I thought I was just going mad I never realised they actually do take ones away!

It's interesting that this surely happens on a regular basis but you only hear about it from the papers when it happens to their favourite person to kick when they're down.

Well, if you've built your career on courting the press, don't be surprised when they turn on you.

Just saying! :arrr:

Has she? Feels like she's spent the last decade at least trying to stay as far away from the press as possible. They love to tear her down and it's actually pretty sickening how much they come for her.

EEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRM.

Fight For This Love? Was that when she was so happily married? Oh and was Promise This when she was oh-so-sick in malaria and it all just leaked to the press - "accidentally". Was Crazy Stupid Love when she had a new boyfriend after her divorce? Also, even Love Made Me Do It played into her media image.

Are we even having this discussion about Cheryl Cole courting the press? Because yes, yes she has. And now it's backfiring on her massively. Ooops!

Soon we'll have Taylor Swift fans pretending that she's NEVER courted the press.

Well it can be said that she's still relevant enough for this news to be all over the media! A lot of waxworks have their shelf life, but you don't hear about most of the other removals. It does feel like the media have gleefully taken this opportunity to kick her while she's down.

UK media turning on a white female singer?

I am honestly shocked, I never wouldve expected that

The uk media turns on any female singer that disrupts the patriarchy in some way and show strength and defiance - that's why they hated Girls Aloud and Spice Girls, but gleefully supported the greatest girl band in the world' latest plastic surgeries and instagram posts, as rhey aren't a threat to patriarchy. They're dolls for Cowell, doing as told, the easiest gig in the world.
Lol the papers hate Cheryl so much. They change the waxworks on a monthly basis. I'm shocked Cheryl stayed this long as it is, this is such clickbait.

This is such bullshit, Little Mix have had enough of their negative press, please stop using their clouded biased opinion to state false facts...

WTONG. Cowell's pets are never ever attacked by the media. Cowell is best friends with the ehad honchos, hence why the acts he doesn't want to win X Facvy etc always get pulverized by them - see Malone.

According to a Popjustice member this story came about from an 'unsolicited Madame Tussaud’s press release that was sent to several newspapers'.

So basically they saw an opportunity to get free press by jumping on the anti-Cheryl press bandwagon, ironic they claim she is irrelevant but are using her name to give them some attention.

Oh my GOD! How cheap!!

To be honest this practice is nothing new. Back in the late 90s when Gary Barlow's solo career was foundering in the wake of Robbie Williams being huge, his waxwork was apparently melted down. Although I did love his comment about that in his book: "They wanted my wax for Britney Spears. They could have made Destiny's Child with all of mine"

Also I've never really seen the appeal of waxworks/Madame Tussauds. Apart from the fact they never look like the person they're meant to be they're a little bit creepy. I'd rather spend the money meeting an actual person in the public eye I quite like at an in store signing or public appearance, thank you very much.
