A lot of waxworks have their shelf life, but you don't hear about most of the other removals. It does feel like the media have gleefully taken this opportunity to kick her while she's down.

So basically they saw an opportunity to get free press by jumping on the anti-Cheryl press bandwagon, ironic they claim she is irrelevant but are using her name to give them some attention.

August 19, 20195 yr To be honest this practice is nothing new. Back in the late 90s when Gary Barlow's solo career was foundering in the wake of Robbie Williams being huge, his waxwork was apparently melted down. Although I did love his comment about that in his book: "They wanted my wax for Britney Spears. They could have made Destiny's Child with all of mine" :lol: Also I've never really seen the appeal of waxworks/Madame Tussauds. Apart from the fact they never look like the person they're meant to be they're a little bit creepy. I'd rather spend the money meeting an actual person in the public eye I quite like at an in store signing or public appearance, thank you very much.
