You know, I would have said the same before The Importance of Being Idle was released. This song has turned around my opinion on them since Whats The Story...
November 11, 200619 yr I disagree, They put most of their earlier material on it because everyone knows that is their best work. Everyone knows they have been going downhill since BHN, however DBTT was a major return to form. It is an excellent album and pisses on most other Indie albums out their today IMO, well except Lyla -_- Alot of the singles from HC and BHN should've been on it imo, instead of Go Let it out and lyla :puke2:

November 11, 200619 yr Author You know, I would have said the same before The Importance of Being Idle was released. This song has turned around my opinion on them since Whats The Story... It is their best song in years but it was still on an album with 10 other song which aren't anywhere near as good as the stuff they were producing 10 years before!

Go Let it out and Lyla are their worst singles ever and should not be on it. All 11 singles that don't feature are vastly supior and far more worthy of apperening on the album. Alot of their recent singles have been very good imo, Little by little, Stop crying your heart out and Songbird being three examples. Their earlier material is and probebly always will be their best work, but I do think the singles off HC were great and overall I thought DBTT was their best album in 10 years!
November 11, 200619 yr my opinion is they slipped big time after morning glory and they became boring for me,but recent singles like importance of being idle and little by little really put them back on the map for me
