January 17, 20205 yr Really strong on first listen - '3am' is definitely the standout but I also really like 'Killing Boys', '929' and 'Still Learning'
January 17, 20205 yr I really like I Hate Everybody and 3am - better overall than I was expecting. I think Nightmare could've fit in fine though, would've made the album a little more exciting
January 17, 20205 yr Eminem will probably block her from #1 now, any other week she probably would have easily managed to be #1 in Us
January 17, 20205 yr she was predicted to be #1 in the US :/ Halsey's "You should be sad" (Capitol) is coming off a impact week with 130+ adds leading into her album, Manic, which streets Friday (1/17), and is expected to bow at #1. guess not anymore
January 17, 20205 yr I hope she can still somehow pull it off, her beating that pig would be such victory!
January 17, 20205 yr sadly I think it's impossible, the last Eminem Kamikaze opened with 434K in the US... Halsey will be in the 100K zone
January 17, 20205 yr I’m guessing Halsey would have just managed to beat Selena but I heavily doubt she will beat Eminem! I’m hoping that she could climb to #1 next week though.
January 18, 20205 yr NEW RELEASES: EM, HALSEY, MAC START STRONG The week's top three new releases could combine for three-quarters of a million units in total activity—and it's only the middle of January. Halsey has a ticket bundle, and all three will benefit from D2C. The Mac Miller pop-up store on 1/17 in L.A. drew serious traffic, with a line stretching for blocks. Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 300-325k total activity, 110-125k album Halsey (Capitol) 185-210k, 140-160k album Mac Miller (Warner) 175-200k, 50-75k much higher than the original prediction!!!
January 18, 20205 yr 'Still Learning' is much better than any of the other songs she's put out recently (maybe even better than 'Without Me'), can we have that become a hit instead of 'You should be sad' please... (really not getting the hype for that at all, the instrumental is kind of nice but the vocals and some of the lyrics are pretty hmm - I guess I'm not the target audience for country pop obvz but I liked Kesha's 'Resentment' so I was hoping this would be something similar to that). Interesting that it's managing to be quite easily the highest of the album tracks on Spotify despite being right at the end of the album. Is it already getting some playlist placements or something ~
January 18, 20205 yr Still Learning was track #1 on NMF yesterday hence the high placement on the top 200 today
January 19, 20205 yr I'm obsessed with 3am atm, probably my fave song of hers. It has such an early 00s feel to it
