July 29, 20204 yr Author Independance Day is ended up for demos? it's on Bend It Like Beckham Sound Tracks and Reason Japanese edition as well. Yeah but It was supposed to appear as the B-side of "If That Were Me" so i though it what Okay to put the first version of the song from "Northern Star" Area. The think is i don't want to count twice the song. Let me know if you think another option.
November 12, 20204 yr Yeah but It was supposed to appear as the B-side of "If That Were Me" so i though it what Okay to put the first version of the song from "Northern Star" Area. The think is i don't want to count twice the song. Let me know if you think another option. I count it as two songs, because not only the music is different, even the lyrics are different. It's ok that the first version is like a demo of NS era, and the second version is from the Reason era, as it comes in the japanese edition of the CD.
April 23, 20223 yr When the Spice Girls started out who would expected Melanie to have such a lengthy discography. It is a proud achievement.
April 23, 20223 yr A huge achievement really especially since she continued despite not achieving commercial success.
April 23, 20223 yr It is a great achivemente, unfortunately which ensured the demise of the Spice Girls as a recording band... So, it is bittersweet to me
April 24, 20223 yr It is a great achivemente, unfortunately which ensured the demise of the Spice Girls as a recording band... So, it is bittersweet to me I'm not convinced... Victoria was clearly also thinking she was going to be a huge solo artist too and ready to leave by the time Forever rolled round and was all too ready to abandon the album, and Mel B obviously wasn't that fussed in that she released her solo album at the same time. Pregnancy so early into their career killed the band, Melanie C was annoyed they were taking a break which is why she did the solo record then decided actually it was easier for her to be a solo artist than deal with the other girls and the conflict within the band.
April 24, 20223 yr Sorry where does this 'Victoria was done with it' coming from? She, together with Emma, was the most committed to the band at that time?? It is well known that Mel C was the one who did not want to release Forever and did not want to continue supporting the record or be a Spice Girl. That is even documented in their own documentaries. Yes it wasn't the same anymore, but Mel C dictating early in the year that was busy touring her album (her tour finished THE DAY BEFORE the album launch wtf) and not interested in the band was what killed it as they couldnt just go on with Emma, Mel B and Victoria. Mel B was just an idiot for releasing at the same time, but you could tell she wanted to be there, at the very least! Edited April 24, 20223 yr by Mr.X
