actually none should count imho they should count for the album charts not for both singles and albums, specially in cases like this where people are clearly streaming the album

there’s clearly enough people streaming at least Follow God as a song to warrant it going top ten, excluding every album track would be silly.
and double counting for both charts is better?

I don’t like the double counting either but it’s better than excluding every song that is on an album from the chart.

Why do you have such a big problem with new music getting Hot Hits exposure? We're all well aware of the likely payola in this but it applies to just about every song on the playlist too... :lol:

but it's a different when they add Selena Gomez or songs that have been buzzing around

compared to when they add songs theres zero buzz, bands that never dio anything chart-wise and are only added cos a label sent a check

 

don't have a big issue either, it's just frustrating to see that labels can buy hits so easily

 

anyway, on today's update, the top Kanye song is down from #2 to #3

but the rest of album tracks are all big fallers

but it's a different when they add Selena Gomez or songs that have been buzzing around

How else are new artists going to get hits other than memes and TkTok - this is no different to Lewis Capaldi suddenly getting a big Spotify push out of nowhere at the end of last year.
