'Make Damm Sure' is MILES ahead of this and I did download it a while back because the title was quite intriguing but really not that good I didn't think - puts me off buying any of the albums.

This song is amazing, the vidoe is cool although im not sure i understand it completley. I've never really heard TBS before but my friend got my their new album 'Louder Now' for christmas and it is excellent. MakeDamnSure is one of my favourites, i highly recommend it.

Was this in the metal section? Get it back in there.

I see that it was. Sorry mate, this is not indie / alt rock. Neither is Fall Out Boy.

Can we create a new board for big short shouty $h!t music?

refering to Billboard  i think we could ask for a Modern Rock /American Collage Rock forum (for Nickelback and erm, Dumbass Disney Punk), with the Punk and Metal section changed to something like Hardcore and extreme Metal forms???

good to see you think this area should be kept jangly and leftfield and out the mainstream as much as it can!!! good on you dude!!! B)

You can't put it in the punk/metal forum because it doesnt belong there.

but it does. as its supposed to be a general forum section...

Where your Rock gets Hard. Led Zepplin, Sex Pistols, Metallica, MCR and beyond... enter the darkside here

...rather than a more specialized ultra hard section, which is the way its going.

you may think these, like fall out boy, blink 182, offspring and any other Fueled by Ramen stuff w***, it maybe be les threatening and 'heavy' than the backstreet boys 1999 number 5 hit larger than life, but you cant dispute the linage has developed from that side of the rock genre that's your american hardcore (punk) i would expect those urban tribes to be all in that group.

whilst here the great lord Morrissey look over us indie kids and hopes we keep in jangly

Yeah. Rule of thumb for me is...

NME featured bands - Indie / Alt board

Kerrang featured bands - Punk / Metal board

Granted, Fall Out Boy appear in both cos they both want to sell issues, but Taking Back Sunday have not and will not appear in NME.

Of course, neither of us want them...best thing to do is create a new board or ignore them :D
