YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.

2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range

3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)

4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.

5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.

6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

Thank you.

Unless the Adele release rumour turns out to be true.

I can see it being Lewis too, assuming Adele doesn't release. Seems like Ed isn't doing televised promotion whereas I think Lewis will get some big spots, plus Bruises seems like it could do well over winter.

We finally got the 3rd (4th overall) platinum album of the year how many more will manage it

Is Lewis doing a repackage? Think i read about it

But couldnt find anything online now

done some simple math and I think in 5 weeks all three albums may reach 490K. So the Xmas sales will show who will top the chart.

I think it will end as:

1. Ed

2. Lewis

3. OST

Lewis is reissuing his album so I’d expect it to stay ahead of Sheeran.

But in the Xmas market, Ed will surely sell Sh1tloads more than Lewis, so I think that will outweigh any advantage a reissue might bring.

One think i used to hate was a repackage not so much of a big deal in the streaming era

Would be fitting if Lewis ended up as the top seller - feel like he's been the biggest artist of the year considering this time last year his support was just beginning with 'Grace'!

Can see him and Ed maybe breaking 600k with 3-4 weeks of 30k plus sales over December.

Of course a big Adele million seller would make the chart look a lot better lol.

Kylie down to #53...

It's funny to think that all Adele needs to do is to release the album early enough to top the year end chart.

I think also Westlife, Robbie Williams, Coldplay and the Rod Stewart/RPO album will be top ten.

She could potentially release on week 52, and still top the YTD chart.

Id say she would need 2 weeks can see ED/Lewis being a lot of stocking fillers which would boost their overall totals

Then that would work, as I believe 2019 is a 53 week chart year...

I can’t see Westlife doing that well to be honest. I think they will be lucky to shift 100k. Coldplay will do well and Robbie. Also, I think Celine Dion will do ok.
