Honestly most of my Christmas playlist isn't made up of the classics, this track is something of an outlier in my taste of Christmas songs! I like other Christmas chart regulars like Step Into Christmas, One More Sleep, Mistletoe, etc but a lot of lesser known tracks make up the bulk of my playlist.

Great to see this in with a shout of number 1 again, i wonder when Mariah released it did she have any idea what a huge part of her career it would become. I see her Christmas album is back in the charts in todays mids at 80 aswell. Back in the 90s i was a big Mariah fan and was so disappointed when the album only made number 32 so its great that it has gone on sell really well and probably coming close to 400k. At the time i never ever thought the album would make silver after such a low performance let alone go on and make platinum.

Wonder why she had the idea!! It also works even better, seeing as she goes along sith it and has fully embraced the role of Queen of Christmas! Other, mote mardy, pop stars would ignore it.

Just seen that last year Mariah earned 6 million from All i want for Christmas, not a bad income from a song thats nearly 30 years old.
