It also marks the third-biggest daily streaming numbers for a song on the platform.

I notice that its week spent at #8 a few weeks ago means it has spent at least 1 week at every position in the Top 10! In fact it's hit every position in the Top 14. All it needs is #15 and #19 to achieve every Top 20 position.

I'm glad that All I Want for Christmas Is You managed to get to #1 in the UK before Last Christmas took over as the Christmas song here. It would have bugged me for an eternity if it never improved on being #2! In 2020, Mariah spent 2 weeks at #1, followed by 1 week at #1 in 2022. Unless something significantly changes about listening habits, I'm not sure I ever see this song making it to #1 again in the UK though.

I am also very happy it managed to go #1 in the UK. I wish it could become a 2-way battle and Mariah and Whan balance their #1 stays out a bit. But oh well. It is what it is.
