Posted November 14, 200618 yr Hey guys and girls, TAW is back once again to hopefully help out on this forum if needed. Please just let me know apologise for how I was originally I've turned over a new leaf with my new life down here in Australia (yes I've moved from the UK and am now down in Oz). I was under a bit of stress before but now I'm much better and promise to be a bit more supportive. I also now along with my brother have a new radio show here in Oz called "The Raw Essential" which is on triple H fm 100.1 (no internet stream yet I'm afraid) playing all the latest dance tracks from around the world plus the aria club chart. So if you wanna know any new dance tracks from down under just let me know. Dance Record Of The Year is still going by the way. I know we have almost finished the year but I was thinking of getting you guys to help with the forum voting for November and for the final 20 songs of the year. I know you haven't contribued to the other months but other forums have and a bit of help is needed to find the DANCE RECORD OF THE YEAR 2006. I will be putting another thread about this. Finally, thie thursday I'm going into a recording studio to record my vocal for the Sunfreakz track "Riding The Wave". The Andrea Britton version is not going down well over here so am giving it a shot with my vocal "Waiting For A Star Like You". I'll let you know how it goes but Ministry Of Sound here are possible people who are interested in the track. I'll but a thread up about this as well. Anyway sorry if I caused any inconvenience before on Coolclarity but I promise to be better behaved this time. I'm a lot cooler now out here in Oz and any news you need from Oz, I'm your man. Many thanks and I look foward to hearing your comments. TAW (aka DJ Nicky P)
November 14, 200618 yr Hi there. I remember you. Great to have you back with us. You made a healthy contribution to the forum which was greatly received. Great to see now we have someone who can dish the dirt in Oz, am interested to hear what is big news over there. What are the biggest trax there at the moment???? Are Rogue Traders still pulling in the crowds? I would love to hear your radio show it sounds great, is there anyway we can receive it here?! Also great to hear the news about the new vocal on the Sunfreaks tune, I would love to hear that. The Andrea Britton vocal takes a while to grow on you. Good luck with MOS with that, it would be so cool if they signed it. Anyways, great to have you back and we will speak soon. JJ
November 14, 200618 yr Author Well unfortnately the club charts are very quiet here at the moment. Sneaky Sound System are number 1 at the moment but do remember we have just had Fedde Le Grande @ no.1 for 10 weeks so its gone quiet for christmas. There maybe something at Christmas that gets to number 1. Other big tracks in the singles chart our obviously FLG at a disppointing number 28, TV Rock with their new track Bimbo Nation is at no.39 and David Guetta at no.40. I do miss dance tracks getting high positions over here. They're not very enthusiastic about buying dance singles over here but the compilations do very well though (ie MOS). The reason I've done the new dance show "The Raw Essential" JJ is my brother and I switched on the radio on friday night and all we heard was rock or pop which we thought was disgraceful since friday night in the UK is the Essential selection with Pete Tong (he's the inspiration for our show). So I'll let you know how it goes a bit further down the line. Yes, I'm recording Sunfreaks tomorrow (thursday) and am a bit nervous about it but I will see if I can get it up on here (it may only be a 30 second clip). It's the first time I'm actually going into studio but I should be alright, MOS has said if they like the track they may be able to stop "Counting Down The Days" getting released in the UK but that's going to be quite tough to do knowing Positiva. Anyway DANCE RECORD OF THE YEAR for November will be up shortly, the final 2 dance tracks to be chosen for the final next month. Speak sometime soon, TAW
