Tori <3 she deserved #1, most talented female singer in the history of music, without a shadow of a doubt, the music, those lyrics, and her gigs most times playing two pianos at the same time... guess the new generations don't know much about her besides Professional Widow but I guess she's done pretty well

ouch forgot to vote for Nelly Furtado, another big fav of mine since day 1

3 great female singers in a row that i didn't award points to.

I just preferred the others i awarded points to, but, have purchased at least 1 album from all of these 3 with Nelly Furtado the one i would overall like the most.

I didn’t even consider Florence as a soloist! She would definitely have received points from me.

And my beloved Tori! At one stage she would have been #1 for me also but she kinda lost it over the past 15 years and I’ve found myself listening to her less often. Still an all time fave though

Missed the voting but I’m hoping Björk finishes high 🙌🏼
Surprised people still remember Nelly.
I find them 3 pretty average tbh. They've all had great songs and unique voices but never been outstanding for me
Surprised people still remember Nelly.

'Try' is an absolute classic  although I'm surprised 'Maneater' doesn't get played much these days.

All Nelly's albums are great and all have some classics

problem with the Loose tracks is that they're 100% Timbaland and his sound is very 00s and Kinda dated

BIGGEST UK HIT: NO MORE “I LOVE YOU”S (#2, 1995)

TOTAL UK TOP 40 HITS: 10

I made myself an Annie Lennox playlist just yesterday so very timely for her to appear. She's undoubtedly very talented and deserves a lot of recognition, especially when you factor in her Eurythmics work.

Obviously Robyn is my favourite of the bunch there, she barely puts a foot wrong for me (aside from her very early material) and is easily the most consistent act of the past decade for me.

Gwen I like but she has some absolute horrors in her discography. Her albums usually have a couple of great moments though and you can just about make a decent album from her material if you discard about 70% of it!!! Push and Shove though (No Doubt) is an absolute tune!

Nice result for Robyn !

Gwen received votes from 12 members I think that is the highest so far .

the last 3 don't deserve to be so high imho

they just have some crazy fans in here but zero talent :/

This has to be one of the most stupid comments I've seen in over 10 years on BuzzJack tbh ;)

I didn't vote in this but I'm quite enjoying the results, they're quite interesting. WTF at Annie Lennox being higher than Robyn and Gwen though, is this Buzzjack or have I accidentally wandered over to a different forum

Are we allowed to post predictions for the Top 10?

It's my opinion sorry :) if you see any talent in Gerri haliwell, good for you, but don't see any myself

she was part of a manufactured pop band, but she cannot sing, she cannot write songs,

it's like saying any guy from Westlife is the best smile singer in the history of music

Edited by Bjork

problem with Annie Lennox, Gwen, is that people are judging them from their entire career including their previous bands

Annie Lennox shouldn't be so high if you only consider her solo material

same for Florence, I mean if you consider her solo material she just has that song with Calvin Harris

that's why I didn't vote for any of those

Except you did vote :D

You can try to predict of course but might be more informed if you wait until the top 20 or so
