Stuart Price once again involved which is great to see. His production just works so well for them. They continue to do no wrong in my eyes and still over 30 years later going strong!
Burning the Heather is lovely, I've always liked them when they go a bit more low key every now and again.
They should easily manage another top 10 album, there not a big promotion band so maybe a bit this time would do no harm.

Monkey business is out today and was premiered on Radio 2 this morning. I think it’s my favourite single so far!

CD single and vinyl will be out on February 7th

Ooh 'Monkey Business' is quite the bop! I like ~ ('Dreamland' was pretty decent too).

At least someone is out here making monkey-related songs that are actually listenable.

Lol at that

Anyway I've just given the album a listen and it's another great effort for them, so impressed how they can still maintain the quality so far into their career! Aside from the singles, 'Hoping For A Miracle' and 'Only The Dark' are highlights for me. Quite excited to go and see them live in May (shamefully it will be my first time ever seeing them, considering I've been a huge fan from day one and grew up listening to them).

another winner from the lads. Not quite the out and out dancefloor banger of some previous albums, and quite retro disco/80's Harold Faltemeyer-flavoured at times, Neil doing some posh rapping again, and quite uplifting overall. I Don't Wanna & Will o'the wisp jump out as the immediate non-singles on one listen. Getting some top reviews 35 years into their career. Great to see 60-somethings still producing quality-dance-based cerebro-pop, still putting on brilliant live shows, and able to bung out the odd new musical, ballet or whatever takes their fancy. Class.
I've only had a quick flick through the tracks so far but I'm optimistic about this one! Initial feelings are that it seems to play to their strengths and doesn't try to chase any trends... plus Burning the Heather remains simply lovely

Really good album, even stronger than Super I think!

It's nice and varied and I at least like every track here. 'Happy People' was an immediate highlight.

Remains Number 1 in today's midweek information.

However J Hus has closed the sales gap by 1,600

the fate of the album is 100% sure it won't be #1 sadly but think it's gonna be #2
