She's not really "doing it" for me this time around on the whole, not like how she was during the Revival era anyway. She's almost boring me in fact.

The album itself was good, not taken by any of the new songs though :(

Lose You to Love Me was an amazing comeback but the rest is not up there to the standards of past singles like Bad Liar, Fetish etc

Boyfriend is such a bop, defo one of my faves from the album now

This album deserves better :( Ik in the charts it's done fine but the general perception of it I see on twitter is not good. Selena isn't loved by stan twitter at all :')

 

I could do without Let Me Get Me, Fun, Vulnerable (don't @ me) and She which is a 4/17 filler rate, actually less filler tracks than on Revival where I'd say there were 5/16 songs I'd ditch. I'd say that was still the better album though as the 11 songs left on Revival I all ADORE while there's a few more 7/10 songs on Rare. There's no real criteria though for me, some albums about half the tracks are filler and they're still decent albums because the other half might all be highs.

 

Feel Me is glorious and has overtaken almost every song on the original album for me <3
