January 17, 20205 yr Looks like Sunday might finally have some drama, I agree though it's been quite boring so far. They're all too polite and bland, going through the motions in an artificial way with cliche talks about where their heads are at. The only one with a personality who actually gets airtime is Shaughna, Mike/Nas/Leanne are practically invisible.

The only one with a personality who actually gets airtime is Shaughna, Mike/Nas/Leanne are practically invisible. It's the same every season though, it always takes a week to kick off. Last year it was all Tommy/Lucie/Joe to start with. Similarly Amber/Yewande/Michael/Danny were all pretty background until just before the midway points. Guarantee you with the next batch it will probably be finding the single people finding a person to couple up with before there's a twist thrown in the way. I still do think having two series a year is a mistake, but for the first time it does actually look like there's a bit of drama. Eventually it will come out that Shaughna caused it too.
January 21, 20205 yr Rebecca entering doing it for The Geordies!! We share a lot of mutual friends. I think she’ll definitely cause some tension with the girls you could see by their faces they had some competition. Sophie in that challenge though WOW!! And I died at Mikes face when Leannes heart was raised more by someone else. There’s something about Mike what I think screams insincere / player. I dunno I can’t really put my finger on it but he could well be Michael 2.0 when they do the other villa providing he lasts that long (which I feel he probably will). The most genuine couple in there right now are Paige and Finley.
January 21, 20205 yr Also Siannise’s face at the end was hysterical. I actually think she’s good TV to be fair. I hope the trolling of her doesn’t get too bad because she isn’t downright nasty or bully like she’s just obviously used to being queen bee / centre of attention.
January 21, 20205 yr I flit between thinking Mike and Leanne are so precious and being suspicious of him :lol: After last year with Curtis and Michael, I won't trust any guy until after Casa tbh, Leanne deserves everything so I'm gonna be gutted if Mike f***s her over :( I feel like she needs time to open up and doesn't always feel right jumping into things so I think it's big she's like that with Mike so soon! Paige seems like she'd be the first to jump ship to a new guy when she gets bored, I just get that vibe off her.
January 23, 20205 yr Siannise asking Connagh about kids and marriage SENT ME :rofl: Continuing theme of this series seems to be that the next day's preview promises drama and then in reality not a lot happens, I think it's only a matter of time before Shaughna kicks off at Rebecca though? The pettiness is boring tbh, JUST CONFRONT HER AND GIVE US WHAT WE WANT ffs
January 23, 20205 yr Aside from Shaughna and Rebecca there isn’t many characters in there. I dunno if it’s just the show making it more PC but like S2 and S3 really feel like a totally different show now like there was always drama and something happening in those series and in S2 especially the original and early new arrivals all brought something to the show but yeah. I think a lot of them are just coasting or the show aren’t showing the actual juicy bits. I’m still gonna watch as it can pick up as it goes along but Shaughna is basically carrying the show right now and with Rebecca now being swayed away from Callum as well we’ve lost what could’ve been the first real drama moment of the series. I’d scream if she still went there though but can’t see it happening. Callum so likes her though I just think he’s a bit terrified of Shaughna. Edited January 23, 20205 yr by Jordan Lee
January 23, 20205 yr Shaughna is absolutely ruining the show for me right now 😭 conversations are brought round to her and her ‘issues may constantly, and she is just as (if not more) controlling as Connor yet seems to get away with the behaviour because she’s a girl. I hope she goes soon, and we can start to see other characters emerge.

January 23, 20205 yr Author Really? I think it's so much more entertaining than last series! Well the beginning at least. I'm with people finding Siannise unintentionally hilarious :lol: I can't cope with her, she makes me scream.
