Not Tonight Santa is back at #10 on Girls Aloud's popular list! It replaces The Show.

The new remixes of Not Tonight Santa are still going pretty unnoticed:

1,772 streams - Christmas Party Mix / Radio Edit

1,308 streams - Christmas Party Mix

A pity this 'Christmas 'Round at Ours' project hasn't amounted to much. I believe it needed some level of push from the girls being together to have created more interest in it.

Not Tonight Santa video is so wonderful.

All five ladies are young and beautiful.

Good luck for top 40 (at least). Sadly top 10 looks like the impossible target.

Majority of sales numbers for overall singles charts is Streaming. but we can do it on album charts

I'd love 'Not Tonight Santa' to get its moment in the sun, it's been a staple for the last 20 years for me but I'd be amazed if there's even a slight chance of it charting.

Yeah I really don't think we have any Girls Aloud chart action to look forward to in the next week or two unfortunately. They (the label, the girls) would have needed to do a lot more to spark some public interest.

It's a pity that Spotify's support of Not Tonight Santa dropped off last year. It did great numbers in 2022 and 2023. For instance on 10th December 2022 it got over 80,000 streams worldwide, but this year it only managed 10,000 on that date.

Was definitely a bit of a messy release but good to have it on vinyl either way.

Shame none of the songs have ever been top 100 the whole album is brilliant imo

How's the midweek performance for Christmas Round at Ours?

Doesnt appear to be doing anything sadly.

I just don't think it's on anyone's radar, sadly. The CD being #3313 on Amazon currently... that says it all.

It seems that only the hardcore fans cared for this release happening back in November, but it's simply not entered the public's consciousness. I can't say I'm surprised. The group aren't currently active, it doesn't contain hit singles. This was the opportunity to try and make it a thing, but they didn't do anywhere near enough to try and make that happen. I wonder if there were intentions for Girls Aloud to promote it harder in 2024 before it got postponed.

Somebody on Popjustice described Christmas 'Round at Ours as being "a niche within a niche" and I think that describes it well. The album reissues were already kind of niche interest, but the Christmas release even more so.

My first thought on it : Moving on to other ventures such as theatre is a viable choice since music charts is Streaming biased. Launching a musical will be a great option just like Steps did.

Unfortunately, Christmas Round at Ours Didnt make in the charts even in minor categories as expected

It really went totally unnoticed outside the hard-core fans and very little was done to help it break outside of that which is a pitty. As you said it was the time to make it a thing and sadly it didn't happen not even enough for it to register in the charts even as low as number 100.

I think there would have to be a real sustained run of promotion for them to make this even a small thing, including chat shows and live performances, and perhaps even a small run of Christmas shows, but I'd be surprised if they were interested in doing that. Definitely just a nice package for the fans, and the cherry on top of the Chemistry anniversary re-issue.

Sadly in my country music market died more than 10 years ago.

I always wanted to have Christmas version of "Chemistry".

Absolutely true.. I admit that other ventures were been more good than music nowadays.
