I have been given a copy of some sample questions for the government's revised GCSE maths curriculum.

 

I am a member of a club with a membership fee of £1,000 per year. However, I have negotiated a 20% discount. If I decide to leave the club, how much do I save each year?

I employ 50 people. I recruit five new members of staff. Five existing staff tell me that they were thinking of leaving but have changed their mind. How many new members of staff do I have?

No.3 is surely a trick question as Scotland's in the UK so it should be the same.

Presumably the correct answers are dependant on what day of the week it is and what The PM has said is the right answer most recently? That would at least eliminate his last answer as a correct option... :lol:
