Is that confirmed? She said it's mixed and mastered but she's not sure on it being on the album yet.

 

Since it's Zara it could possibly leak, but I lowkey hope she like releases a deluxe of her album or a re-issue and uses it as the lead, it would be really great for both of them.

The album is now complete! The girls revealed in an interview with MTV that it’s 100% finished!! Maybe it could actually be coming August-September time then?

I’m guessing it will probably be on Little Mix’s album rather than Zara’s? Perrie has been commenting on Zara’s stuff recently too! They did say they had a duet that people wanted and remember the hype after think about us demo?

Possibly. The girls did an interview today and were asked about collabs, they didn't say anything because they haven't been 100% finalized, so maybe Zara and LM's team are in the process of deciding who gets the song and who is the lead artist?

I really hope LM experiment a bit more on this album. Every era is about them looking good and making ‘hits’. Itd be cool to see more artistry... like ‘Lightening’ or ‘Dna’ or the “haunting me” part of ‘Monster in Me’.

Considering what we've heard so far, this album seems to be a revamped Glory Days, where it's just back to back pop songs (Minus like.. the annoying doo-wop) I don't think it's bright for us to expect any experimentation or concept lol

Yeh exactly, unfortunately I doubt it, they've already mentioned in interviews that every song on the album are radio friendly hit-worthy bops that they liked. I have no issue with that at all. Bring me NMSS part 2!

My guess is they will tie in the album release with The Search.. September release i’m thinking!

Ideally they’d release it right before the liveshows start when they’ll have some hypes from the show being on for a few weeks and the following weeks to promote it there. That’ll probably be October already so have a reliable platform where they can promote it and November will see a natural increase on sales.

I wish they would hurry up and announce something regarding this.. I feel like whilst Holiday is gaining traction and we're all at the peak of hype for the album that they should announce something. These vague clues of "it's coming soon" and it's vague sound aren't very exciting and IMO, they'll just turn people off.

Jade and Jesy were in the studio yesterday so I can't imagine they're ready to announce something yet. Probably waiting to see if they'll get any call back from the possible features too. I think the concert next week will help keep the hype up and soon we'll have The Search. I assume they'll announce a premiere date sooner than later.

They were probably recording the collabs as they said all of the recording for the album was finished they just needed to wait on the collabs to see if they were still happening.

 

I imagine a release date will be coming very soon ngl.

It's not even like they need to announce the entire thing, just something. I know the collabs were taking their time but hopefully now it's sorted. You can still give a release date or a name or something along those lines.

 

All we know so far is that the album campaign shoot is done and the sound is "Glory Days 2.0" but it's coming in the next month or two..

The fact that its supposedly coming in a month or two but they still havent posted the name, artwork and preorder link etc etc is so annoying. I hate it when they announce an album just 4 weeks before its release.

I don't mind honestly, don't see the point in announcing it with much anticipation. A month is more than fine and I'd hate to get just the title without the artwork...

Agreed. That was such a big mistake for the LM5 era, not only did they announce it like 4/5 weeks beforehand but they released their lead single 6(?) weeks before the release of the album. I feel like their team is stuck in the Glory Days era where you can release a lead single and have the album only a month later and still find success.

 

 

I think in the current climate 4 weeks is more than fine to announce an album...People consume music much more quickly now with streaming etc..

 

Having a release months away can actually make people lose interest, I'm a huge fan and it would me.

Yeah I agree with Joel. It’s much easier to keep the hype up for 4 weeks than for two months. That’s why I think they’ll tie the album with a new single, even if simultaneously.

I agree - a shorter time between announcement and release is best
