Within 2015-2019, there are very few #1s below platinum at all - just Sam Smith's 'Lay Me Down', the NHS Choir, Artists For Grenfell, both LadBaby songs and 'River', and 'Lay Me Down' is only because of the John Legend-featuring Comic Relief version being counted separately (it's gold while the solo version [in its presumably-combined multiple incarnations] is platinum).

 

There are many gold/silver ones in 2008-2014, but the only ones below silver are 'Islands In The Stream' (Comic Relief 2009) and 'Wishing On A Star' (The X Factor Finalists 2011). They had sold 156k and 167k as of their respective end-of-year charts.

 

Before 2008, there are more uncertified ones sprinkled around, but the last time with 2 in a row... if you ignore songs returning to #1, it's Robbie Williams' 'Radio' and Ja Rule's 'Wonderful' in Oct-Nov 2004 (which were interrupted by Eric Prydz returning to #1 for 2 weeks). Before that, it's Sam & Mark's 'With A Little Help From My Friends' and Busted's 'Who's David?' in Feb 2004. (Assuming the BPI database isn't missing any information. I know the Elvis reissues don't include their original sales but of the 2 that were consecutive, one has a current-era certification anyway.)

she is at just over 180k so far so Silver should come for her well before next Christmas

 

I’ve no idea how she’ll do this week but I suspect she won’t shift 20k, trickle streams through the next few weeks should give her the Certification soon however.

It'll be interesting to see if she falls like the other seasonal tracks.

I'm sure she'll have a significant drop although I can't quite see it exiting the top 100 entirely so 3 Lions will still have its record.

It's new plus it's by all acounts on other playlists. If it was on other platforms it would def fall slowly as airplay is only rising now and will be decent this week with it being no1!
