December 31, 20195 yr Going just by films I saw in 2019 (some of these are technically 2018 but they weren't released in the UK until 2019 so I'm counting them), I think these would be a top 10: 01. Doctor Sleep 02. Midsommar 03. Eighth Grade 04. Roma 05. The Nightingale 06. Joker 07. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 08. Us 09. The Irishman 10. I'll need to have a think about my top films of the decade, but I'll come back to this!

January 1, 20205 yr Author Your number 1 *.* I hated The Favourite </3 Thought it was incredibly boring and just not my thing at all. The performances WERE fantastic though and I can't begrudge Olivia winning (especially as her speech has given me one of my favourite moments from the last Decade ) I still need to see On The Basis Of Sex, just can't be bothered on getting around to it :( Knives Out should be higher. I also really liked Rocketman, so I'm saddened to see it in your bottom 5 </3 Everything else in your top 20 I think I liked, at least so YAY! :D --- @Chez, I've never even heard of Nightingale! I'm intrigued by your description of it though :o

I went to see it 4 times in the cinema! On The Basis of Sex was surprisingly good actually - I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. Here's the thing with Rocketman... I absolutely loved Bohemian Rhapsody and I was hoping Rocketman would be similar, but I just found it nonsensical. With musical films, I hate it when songs are shoe-horned in and that's exactly what it felt like to me. I assume your list will be coming soon?
January 1, 20205 yr Author Yep! My list is coming v shortly. Starting tonight, probably. Finishing in July most likely :kink: You've got me misunderstood from your Endgame comment :heehee:
