Have just listened to the Future/Drake song and yeah, people weren't joking saying it just sounds like 2 completely separate songs stuck together, the Drake part has nothing in common with the Future part at all :lol: I do like both parts of it though ~ (although I kind of wish the Drake part was its own song and fleshed out to full song length).

Taking inspiration from Sunflower I suppose :P Although it might just be something dumb like Future & Drake being on different labels, and so the label that released the song would want to prioritise their artist.

Well my expectations were high because Lose You to Love Me did over 8M/daily at its best globally but clearly none of the new tracks on the album is going to reach the same levels. But to put things in perspective, the US streams for ALL tracks on the album were lower than LYTLM did in ONE DAY globally. -> what I meant with "US failed her"

In today's update Future/Drake uo to #5 :/ Rare down to #29

Stormzy is off #1 as Dance Monkey returns to the top but Still Disappointed has reached #28 for him (and Disappointed at #141). Darkoo also reaches the top 40 for the first time with Gangsta at #40 and BROCKHAMPTON continue their slow climb, now at #68.

'Still Disappointed' might legitimately manage to replace 'Audacity' as Stormzy's third song in the chart at this rate then! (It's a little behind at the moment on both Spotify and Apple Music, but way ahead on iTunes and presumably will be on YouTube as well, not that we can really trust the OCC to get video stream numbers correct but yeah xx). I guess that would accurately represent the Stormzy/Wiley beef being a pretty huge thing at the moment - the top 2 trending songs on UK YouTube right now are 'Still Disappointed' and 'Disappointed', while #3-5 is made up of all three parts of 'Eediyat Skengman' :lol: - but I'm surprised so many people are actually going to stream a diss track beyond just listening to it the one time. Stormzy's power I guess ~~ (the Wiley disses are already dropping hard on Apple Music while Stormzy's are still rising).

 

Likybo's 'Kraazy' is the latest no-name song from TikTok debuting at #155, and Lil Baby has debuted at #196 after missing the top 200 yesterday.

 

Glad to see Future/Drake climbing! Hope it can manage a top 5 debut.
