This weekend sees an Indycar double header at Road America, easily one of the best circuits in the world. A proper old school European style road course.

Races take place on Saturday and Sunday evenings with qualifying immediately beforehand.

Five times champion Scott Dixon leads the championship with 2 wins from 2 races.

Dixon wins again in a thriller. Today's 2nd race is on right after the Styrian GP

Alex Zanardi has been transferred to a specialist recovery centre a month after suffering serious head injuries in a handbike accident.

The 53-year-old Italian was placed in a medically induced coma and has had three operations at Siena's Santa Maria alle Scotte hospital since the accident during a road race near the Italian city on 19 June.

In a statement, the hospital said Zanardi's sedation had been suspended, allowing him to be transferred.

"The stability of the general clinical conditions and the neurological picture allowed the transfer to a specialised centre for recovery and functional rehabilitation," it said.

Lewis Hamilton isn't the only one making history as Scott Dixon stayed calm through the chaos to win his 6th Indycar title in a hugely entertaining race with so many incidents that the safety car almost ran out of fuel!

Mick Schumacher can he do it and win the F2 title?

I would think so. He has a 14 point lead on Ilott and the momentum is with him. Ilott has a lot to do to overhaul that and must hope Schumacher has an off day to.

Mick Schumacher will start his F1 career as the reigning F2 champion.

Tbh, I feel it's best for Ilott that Schumacher won the series.

Means he can have another crack of the whip next year, and possibly gain a 2022 F1 seat!
