Other interesting points:

1. #34 would get to #32 when re-issued not that long ago.

2. #23 and #24 would both fall out of the top 75 the following week (whereas #25, #27, and #28 would all stay top 40 for another week).

3. You're Beautiful was making the first of 5 re-entries into the top 40 (including a 42-16 climb after Christmas).

4. Daniel Powter - Free Loop would have charted at #33 had the b-side not been a version of Bad Day.

5. #67 was the 2nd of 6 re-issues of old Bob Marley tracks (which charted in 6 consecutive weeks).

6. #71's lead track was Tom Novy - Your Body, which would get to #10 in its own right 2 weeks later.

7. For probably the only time in chart history, the top 21 featured two 47-year-old females.

 

And for those of you who don't remember the act at #3, they were described by one reviewer as "Another one from Busted starts his own group and this time they sound exactly like... Busted."

this week last year I bought the Arctic Monkeys and My Chemical Romance. Both are still good songs!
