I think some of that speculation is coming from the fact big radio stations in US are playing the leak, surely if it was a genuine leak of a lead single meant to be dropping soon the label would be commenting on this

Yea it's totally possible that it is not a single or even on the album. We don't have cover, visual identity or anything addressing the new single/album yet.

If it doesn’t become available by the weekend on an official streaming service or available to buy I’ll go with the its an intentional leak.

 

But if it is the lead they’ll be crazy to wait until Feb 7 if that’s the date it was really meant to be coming.

 

We shall soon see. It’s a safe enough sounding lead though so I hope the real lead if it isn’t this isn’t a polarising track.

Is it confirmed to be a single? I’m sure if it was a single then her and her management would rush release it this Friday as all her fans would have basically heard it by now and other casual listeners have heard it, unless she does a Pussycat Dolls ‘React’.

It's also totally possible that thanks to Little Detectives, they changed the plan of the first single and that is coming on Feb 7.

Sad if so because this is dynamite, I do hope they have something equally as good if they are going with something else.

I feel like it's not the single too, that wouldn't be the only reaction if it was. I think it's good enough to be a lead and would fit as a lead but they'd have taken action by now I'd have thought. Obviously they'd have preferred no leaks but an album track leaking isn't as bad as the less that's meant to launch the era.
