Updated! Fine Line gets a 40th week top 10, meaning it has quadruple the next highest tally (10 for Take Me Home). It's actually now only 9 weeks away from matching Take Me Home's total top 40 weeks :o

 

Heartbreak Weather crosses 50k, continuing its slow trickle to silver.

I hope heartbreak weather will get to silver, fine line is holding so steady and a new single will help it to keep going.

Louis Tomlinson - Walls has sold 32,981, including 738 sales this week!

Thank you Jay! It was on 17.1k when it left the chart, so on average, that's 497 sales a week across 32 weeks (but I assume generally less than that with this week being higher thanks to the fan boost). At that rate though, it'd make silver in October 2021, which wouldn't be such a bad result in the end.

 

Updated for this week. Fine Line departs the top 10 again sadly, but it should finally be platinum in a couple of weeks now! It should pip HS1 to the post but that won't be far behind.

 

re. the 1D albums, Made in the A.M. actually only sold 1 copy less than Take Me Home this week - interesting when TMH has been so far ahead before! Midnight Memories should pass 1m before the end of the year too :D

Updated! Interestingly, Made In the A.M. is now the top 1D album and re-enters the top 100!

 

HS1 is still above Fine Line in total sales, but Fine Line should squeeze over plat this week whereas it'll take a couple of weeks for HS1. Basically, Harry should have two platinum albums in a couple of weeks' time!

Updated! Fine Line has overtaken HS1's sales in just 10 months, and does so in the same week it goes platinum. It's the highest selling solo album now! HS1 should be platinum, at the latest, within 2 weeks.

 

MITAM spends another week top 100, and Midnight Memories should be over 1m by the end of the year.

Truly deserved for Fine Line, I look forwards to Harry Styles album also achieving it as I think both of them are the best solo One Direction albums! (To be fair I've only heard them two and Flicker lol)

Updated! It's finally happened, Harry Styles the album is over 300k and certified platinum :D Every album Harry's released (solo + group) is now platinum as a minimum, so he has 7 of them to his name! :o

Updated! Fine Line rebounds 9 places to #9 this week, which is its highest position for 9 weeks... lots of 9s :lol: HS1 is up 11 to #55, also its highest position for 9 weeks. Golden music video boost has had a huge impact!

 

MITAM sneaks back into the top 100 at #100, and Midnight Memories is now just weeks away from passing the million :D

Updated! Midnight Memories is just a few weeks off 1m :D Heartbreak Weather re-enters the top 200 so we have a new total for that, hopefully silver by the end of the year!

Updated! A few things to look out for in the coming weeks:

 

- Midnight Memories is about 4 weeks off 1 million

- Heartbreak Weather is, similarly, about 4 weeks off silver

- Fine Line is 3 weeks away from overtaking Take Me Home's top 40 weeks total, putting it 2nd only to Up All Night!

Updated! Fine Line is now one week off matching Take Me Home's top 40 weeks, which it achieved in 3 separate stints - Fine Line is of course going to make it to 50 consecutive top 40 weeks!

Updated! Sadly Fine Line drops to #26 this week as Q4 really impacts, it'll rebound in the new year I'm sure.

 

Midnight Memories isn't top 200 for the first time in ages but we've still got a new total thankfully!

Updated! Fine Line is officially the 2nd longest running 1D album in the top 40, overtaking Take Me Home's 50 weeks. Just one more week until it's spent a whole year in the top 40! :cheer:

 

No total for Midnight Memories this week, the album chart is busier than usual so the stream-heavy albums do tend to drop a bit at this time of year. We might miss the week it crosses 1m though! :cry:

Yes it usually sells just under 1k so we can quite easily tell when it'll hit 1m, but it'll be nice for official confirmation! It'll cross the mark this coming Friday ^_^
