OH MY GOD.

IT WAS AMAZING! I didn't expect to enjoy it so much, she actually killed it and had so much passion and energy. I loved it.

I was a casual fan before, now i'd say i'm a big fan! Everyone I met was so so nice as well!

Monster and Replay were highlights for me! Tbh I enjoyed it all, she really showed she is a 'star'.

I'm so glad she brought back The Edge of Glory for yesterday's show.

I don't think she will release a new album before 2023 and who knows when she will tour Europe again but hopefully sooner than later.

She has a label deadline to release a new album. There's a clause in her record company deal that she has to release a new album every two years, so 2023 at the latest if they're based on Love For Sale or this year if Chromatica is the album being considered. Commercially, it would be better if she drops it later this year, as it is the most fruitful period in sales, but we know she won't (no one is quite sure what she's going to do in the last few months of the year: back to Vegas or that movie she possibly was picked to do).

We love to hear it! :cheeseblock:

I am now back in Newcastle!

After travelling from Newcastle to then Leeds where thankfully I stayed over with a friend who come with me and then from Leeds to London my journey to Chromatica felt like I’d went to a different continent by the time I got there. However what a show and what a experience. Wow! There’s something about Gaga shows anyway what are always special and mega event like for me and I never get this way over anyone else (maybes the only other person I’d feel this way about is when I eventually see Madonna) but what an experience. Dare I say her best show since Born This Way Ball and the setlist worked perfectly (I’ll go into that but attach spoiler tags)

So on paper when I seen Bad Romance opened I thought really?! As it always seems more encore but it opened perfectly loved that it included the video intro as well. I think everyone going wild and performing her early big hits first worked fine and built up the Chromatica parts of the show really well and the Chromatica tracks all went off live. Alice Replay and Babylon especially were all high energy and went off in the stadium. Fun Tonight and 1000 Doves on the piano as well were so meaningful as well.

Born This Way was a major highlight too especially on the piano! And of course Shallow sounded HUGE and Always Remember Us This Way. I’d also say Hold my Hand really works as the closer (or at least I thought it did) the reaction to that was quite emotional by people around me and I think it’ll go onto have a Million Reasons type appeal in the long run.

What a show though. Her talent always shines so much in a live setting. She gives everything from outfits, vocals, choreography, the piano section. I always love her spoken parts to where she interacts with the audience she’s so pure.

My friend who come with me said Gaga is the best female performer she’s ever seen and it was her first time at a Gaga show. She’ll be a stan now

Jord that's a great review. Glad you enjoyed it as much as you did :D

Also, another 5 STAR review this time from Metro:

“Gaga has always attempted to turn her pain into power, her trauma into triumph. The effect felt transcendently cathartic, Gaga’s greatest rebirth yet.” — MetroUK on #ChromaticaBall ★★★★★

I know she does it to cheer up the audience, but there comes a point on the show where it gets annoying, like, people want to hear the full song without any fancy or breaks all the time.

Breaks all the time? Have you seen the show - 95% of the songs were uninterrupted. Only the piano section had talking segments between. The occasional "PAWS UP" are natural ad libs that are done by every effective live performer.

Went to both London shows and loved it. I think the ending Hold My Hand is an odd choice and would've much preferred Bad Romance or Babylon as the encore, but I understand she's passionate about it and wants to end on her latest released song.

Highlights: Bad Romance, Replay, Babylon, Free Woman, Born This Way, The Edge of Glory, Enigma. Also everybody singing Shallow and ARUTW back to her felt surreal, I don't know if she realises how well-known ARUTW is here.

Her energy was on fire the whole time, so glad I went both nights - one seating and one standing to get the full experience.

But there's no need to ask the audience to put their hands up 50x at a show, it becomes tiresome and predictable that she will say that in every song and that's why some people make fun of her, like in that tweet. There are already long interludes and those talks she do on the piano (which break the mood of the show a bit) which — fortunately — are getting shorter and less disruptive to the course of the show as she becomes more confident but there's no need for further breaks.

I'm sorry, but this SCREAMS someone who hasn't actually seen the tour live making an assumption on a few twitter videos

The show was NON-STOP my partner and I were exhausted at the end and his actual words at one point were "she's not letting me breathe" - he's not even a stan but it was a non-stop party throughout and he couldn't go to the toilet because there were no moments of filler!

In fact one of my gripes is that there were wasn't as much audience interaction that we have grown to love from her tours. But this was a different vibe so it didn't need them: it was an exploration of her arriving on the planet, trauma, pain, brutality.

And what's the difference between watching the show through a video and live? Does the show time change? Sour Candy complained that the interludes were long, and he wasn't the only one, I know other people who went to the shows in Europe who said the same thing, if you and your partner weren't bothered by it, ok, but not everyone thinks that way.

Also, people go to a show to hear the songs, not to attend lectures, it slows down the course of the show and I'm glad she's been cutting down on it more and more at her shows.
