I don't get why they'd release a remix of Kings and Queens when she's just released a new single?

 

Surely this should have been released a little while ago, then pushed Who's laughing now?

 

All her releases are such a mess, it always seems like there's zero thought in any release strategy just desperation.

 

Plus the remix is horrendous, I would go as far as it being the worst remix I've ever heard none of it works at all.

I think this new version is intended for the US not the UK

In the US she's been stuck just outside the top 100 for a few weeks, so I guess they think this can push the song and make it finally top 100 in the US

 

well it's not like the new single is being pushed in the UK, no airplay, no playlist support, nothing...

I was thinking Lauv seemed like a weird fit for this song - and it looks like even he himself agrees as he went out of his way to not sound at all like himself on it :lol:

 

I don't think it's a terrible remix (Saweetie's verse was actually pretty good surprisingly) but I certainly wouldn't choose it over the original. Looks like it's working as intended though as the song is now being predicted to finally hit the Hot 100 this week.
