bit worrisome that Skepta's album tracks are doing so much better than Dua's on Apple Music :/

even PartyNextDoor's album is doing similar to Dua Lipa's...

but at least Physical is now uno to a new peak of #4 on Apple, with Break my Heart at #20

Skepta is #5 with Waze but has lots of tracks top 100

PartyNextDoor & Riri are #43 on Apple now and Little Mix are #51 so good start for both

surely there's no way that dua wont be #1 with an opening of over 30,000+
luckily Dua Lipa has physicals and iTunes on her side, plus Spotify is less urban-centric than Apple

Physicals to the extent that they're even possible to purchase right now that is... :P

I think she should be able to get the #1 anyway but not hugely surprised that Skepta et al. have started better on streaming, Dua does well on streaming with her singles but I didn't anticipate her being one to have a hugely impactful album bomb. Still early though and it's possible she could do better on Spotify than Apple.

Apple right now:

Skepta/Chip/Young Adz @ 3, 18, 29, 30, 38, 49, 52, 61, 66, 72, 83, 103

Dua Lipa @ 4, 10, 19, 100, 107, 109, 114, 122, 123, 145, 158

PARTYNEXTDOOR @ 24, 71, 80, 84, 96, 117, 131, 132, 134, 149, 162, 165, 182, 189, 301

Young Adz very likely going to finally break the top 15 then after stalling at #16 three times with D-Block Europe. Also likely a first top 10 as lead artist for Skepta and a first top 10 for Chip since 2013 (first since 2012 and only the second ever for Skepta). Unless it's very frontloaded and/or fails to take off outside Apple Music ofc.

sure they're shipping physical copies even if the shops are closed, everybody buys online now

Not in the UK :P

Amazon aren't shipping physical music at the moment. It is of course still possible to buy physical music (HMV online etc.) but it's definitely significantly impaired.

I just received Dua's CD in the post this morning from Amazon! Was quite amazed and impressed there was no hold up actually.

As a pre-order I assume? I'm sure I've read that they aren't taking any new orders. Good to know that they are still shipping pre-orders on time though I guess!

edit: it's available to purchase on Amazon but the delivery date isn't until late April. Don't know if that would still count to this week's chart or not...

Break My Heart debuts at #25 with 162k

Tomorrow update is the real update so finger crossed for a jump into top 10!!!

I have a feeling Don't Start Now will benefit the most from the album releases lol.

Blueberry Faygo enters the top 10, and deathbed, boyfriend and Sunday best reach new peaks of #13, #14 and#24

I think once the album has been dispatched, it counts as a sale towards the chart, so I assume any late pre-orders won't be included towards this chart.

I hope Future Nostalgia gets decent streams being the first song on the album, did it even enter the top 200 when it was released as promo single?

also new

Better than it was doing on its first day on Apple so a fairly good sign for her.

Skepta & friends on the other hand already doing a fair bit worse than on Apple (no surprise as that is usually the case for D-Block Europe). Their debut positions are practically reversed from what they were on Apple.

'Blueberry Faygo' now has a music video as well so should have a shot at entering the top 10 overall next week.

They are to a degree. They shipped my Vinyl today and it says it will arrive on Monday!

Wonder if there will be a random big sales boost one week in the album chart when Amazon start dispatching again
