Yes for Netflix / Disney etc

Again TV ratings are way up because people are at home. It isn't hard to grasp, if a lot of people are staying in a percentage of them will be watching tv that normally wouldn't be.

It was a disastrous result but she tried. Hopefully her constant slow but steady UK promo keeps baring fruit as it has been much more successful.

Didn't you say that iTunes sales don't matter nowadays?

Secondly, I don't remember Emma's Santa Baby setting the US iTunes chart on fire when she performed it on that American Christmas special.

Did anyone say it did?

All their solo careers don't matter in the grand scheme of popular music today.

You totally ignored my last point.

She did good on James Corden's Late Late Show:

My only gripe would be the background with them uggly curtains and lack of space lol couldn't she had done it in front of the Spice memorabilia or at least in a part of the room with a bit more space? lol

But she did good!

My biggest gripe is of course her lack of shoes. Really Mel?

But yeah, if she was going to mime why couldn't she have done it in front of the Spice Girls memorablia since the song is pretty much about reminiscing about the past?

She didn't mime?

She def did not mime the whole track .
Admittingly, I've only listened to the performance via my laptop speakers so I don't think I've picked up on any nuances in the performance. With that said, it wasn't meant as a criticism as such - mimed, loud backing track - obviously, doing a live performance via this medium isn't ideal so I don't exactly blame her for feeling more comfortable with having a loud backing track (or miming for that matter).

The good news is she didn't do it acoustically! How many times during The Sea and VOM did she say about different styles, more electronic then did a bland acoustic guitar version when performing songs off them.

Live over a backing track is fine if it keeps some energy on the song and performance.

When did she ever do an acoustic performance of Think about it?

The TV one is disappointing, but radio performances are generally acoustic aren't they?

She did do a big performance for TAI on a TV show I remember thinking it was fantastic she had leather trousers and a peach type top on, (and killer heels)

Radio performances can be whatever you want, an electronic keyboard can give you any sounds you want and make a performance sound more like the studio version.

I think that's mostly down to what's easier - a guitar is easily transportable and having someone play the guitar is cheap. You also don't have to worry about the soundsystem as much.

This one?

We must get a proper performance of Who I Am!

YES!! I love that performance so much she looks AMAZING and sounds AMAZING!

I'll never get over Think about it not being at least a small hit it's a travesty!

Just think if she had come back after NS with Think about it, it would have been a huge smash!

Didn't she kill TAI herself by it being released the same day as the album. I seem to recall it charting at like #90 despite by that point being pointless to download it individually. I think the cd single helped it chart so high.

TAI could have definitely been a top 40 hit if she had released it a week or 2 before the album and had 2 cd singles.

The video was also released like 1month before the download, and she got barely any radio support. The song is still terrible to me, and her vocals are awful on it. She is screaming most of the chorus...

Yeah I never got that logic at all  I guess she was trying to push sales for the album instead... really stupid idea tbh :( :(

I'm still not convinced it would have charted top 40 though I mean at this point only die hard fans were supporting her not the general public, and she only got radio play on Radio 2 plus the TV performance was like a few weeks later wasn't it? She couldn't get the promo she needed as she didn't have the budget to pay for the slots sadly.
