March 19, 20205 yr Really hate Boomerang, sounded dated even on arrival and her voice sounds so whiny

I think this is one of the campest & gayest songs I've ever heard in all honesty. Which is hardly surprising when half way through the song they sample Gloria Gaynor's camp classic 'I Will Survive'. A decent song, but nowhere near my favourite. At #14 is Wait A Minute which served as the final single from the girls mega successful PCD album. It's got an infectious production value to it. Very catchy. Right There is at number 13. My number 11 in the rate and that's even more surprising to me because when it was announced as the next single after DHYB smashed, it wasn't even on my radar to be a single, but the video release happened and I don't know what happened, but from then, it made PERFECT sense as a single. Such a high quality produced track. Brilliant! At #12 we have the girls' comeback single from 2008 When I Grow Up. A song famous for it's misheard lyric of "I wanna have big boobies", but ultimately this gave the girls another top 3 smash single. It's an ear worm and there's just something about it that draws me back despite it lacking any kind of real melody. ALL THOSE 10's THOUGH!!! Finally at #11 and just missing out on the top 10 is the groups 3rd single Beep. This always stuck out to me as a highlight of their discography and I remember seeing the video everywhere at the time. Irresistably catchy and went on to be their 3rd consecutive Top 2 single!
March 19, 20205 yr Author THE TOP 10 (In Alphabetical Order) BUTTONS (The Pussycat Dolls) DON'T CHA (The Pussycat Dolls) DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH (Nicole Scherzinger) I DON'T NEED A MAN (The Pussycat Dolls) I HATE THIS PART (The Pussycat Dolls) JAI HO (YOU ARE MY DESTINY) (The Pussycat Dolls feat. March 19, 20205 yr Ya’ll really let Wet , Poison , and Jai Ho in the top 10 over Beep , When I Grow Up , and Right There ? a mess !
March 19, 20205 yr Author Ya’ll really let Wet , Poison , and Jai Ho in the top 10 over Beep , When I Grow Up , and Right There ? a mess !Wet I kinda understand (I like it but it's generic af). Poison and Jai Ho are deserving tho :o

Such a high quality produced track. I agree with that actually, I'd even go so far as to say it's an essential now. I just wish she'd have got someone (anyone) other than 50 Cent to feature on the single version. I seriously DESPISE 'When I Grow Up', always have done - so glad to see it miss the top 10. Gutted to see 'Beep' has though. That's such a classic.
March 20, 20205 yr Author 10 A.R. RAHMAN & THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS feat. NICOLE SCHERZINGER - JAI HO (YOU ARE MY DESTINY) [8.29] Yc5OyXmHD0w Highest: JordanLee (11); Liam, Wall, NickF1, SamJudd, gavindeejay, kye & FUTURE NOSTALGIA (10); Cameron & JosephInSpace (09.5) + Jonjo, Jack, Jay ☆ & troylovesmusic (09) Lowest: Prettylittlebry & Atonement (04) + Cqmerqn (04.5) Getting us off to a head start in the top 10 is a song that I'm kinda surprised didn't finish higher. I was expecting top 6 for this at least! Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny) was the official song for the international version of the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' and went on to become an absolutely MASSIVE WW hit for the girls. Arguably one of their signature hits. It's an infectious, Bollywood-inspired, pop BOP. So good. Irresistably catchy and it was a top 3 smash for the girls. This was also the first single (I think?) where they credited Nicole Scherzinger individually!
March 20, 20205 yr True. I would expect actually top 5 for Jai Ho. It's really good and it was different for them!!!
March 20, 20205 yr Author 09 THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS - STICKWITU [8.42] K1uNjmxJQUo Highest: Wall, SamJudd, Jack, gavindeejay, kye, ...ready for it, troylovesmusic (10); Jay ☆ (09.5) + Liam, Jonjo, Cameron, WinterFreeze & JordanLee (09) Lowest: ElectroBoy (03) + Atonement (05) Up next is the girls 2nd single and their 2nd UK number 1 Stickwitu. This song really showed a completely different side to the girls right after their storming debut single Don't Cha. A slow ballad and it worked out well for them as the 2nd single. It was a big hit and was everywhere at the time. I wasn't sure how well it'd do in this rate in all honesty, I thought people might have not thought about it too fondly, but to see it here in the top 10 is a wonderful surprise. A beautiful song. Very simple in it's production and it doesn't really go much further, but the middle 8 manages to pack enough punch to prevent it being lifeless.
March 20, 20205 yr oh i am living for this top 10. wish stickwitu was higher but i can’t fault 3 scherzy singles in the top 8 :kink:
March 21, 20205 yr I've never been overly fussed on 'Jai Ho', but it has its place. 'Stickwitu' manages to be both cheesy yet beautiful.
