May 22, 20205 yr Ah Meat Loaf, was wondering when one of my next ones would be out. Forgot I'd voted for him tbh. He's had some great material back in the day
May 22, 20205 yr Omg Hozier definitely deserved some points from me just for the sublime Take Me to Church alone.
May 22, 20205 yr Meat Loaf would have gotten 24 points from me so I'd have been his highest scorer. That must officially make me Buzzjack's biggest Meat Loaf fan

May 23, 20205 yr Author Flo Rida getting a number one 4 years in a row though. :o It's interesting how some acts just literally seem to disappear after being pretty ubiquitous for years- there's another example of that tomorrow!
May 24, 20205 yr Stormzy is the best of the UK Grime acts. But maybe that's just down to it being more accessible than usual! Nelly is one of my favourite rappers. 'Ride Wit Me' is the first rap song I properly enjoyed. Flo-Rida *_* Bop after bop tbh! He's got a certain charm to his raps!
May 24, 20205 yr Flo Rida he certainly had hit after hit from 2008-2012. Then he just disappeared after 2015.
May 24, 20205 yr Flo Rida he certainly had hit after hit from 2008-2012. Then he just disappeared after 2015. I think the streaming era definitely killed off the previous generations of artists. The likes of Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj etc were all getting hits back in 2012-13 and haven't had any hits of their own since. They probably aren't the best examples but the change in music consumption/how the charts are compiled seemed to hinder many acts who probably would've had more success if downloads remained dominant.
