Does anyone remembers the boyband V? I never cringed so much.

Crazy Frog ft The Baha Men- Who Let The Frog Out.

anyways for me.. Scouting For Girls and Fall Out Boy. The latter is universally loved but I never could stomach his voice.. and SFG are one of the most blandest bands I've ever heard.

I’ve never understood the hype for Mr Brightside. The Killers have far better songs than that!

I say this all the time. It's good but don't get the blown up hype.

Might be unpopular but Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston.

Haha that isn't an unpopular opinion ;)

Scouting For Girls, every song they've ever done is HORRIFIC. Even most acts I hate have at least one song I can enjoy, but not them. :puke2:

Pretty much. No redeemable aspects. When they finally got their #1 it was a dark day lol.

Kate Nash was one I also personally couldn't abide. I do like her most recent BJSC entries however as she doesn't sound so annoying on those.

I realise that's likely a hot take again.

You'd never expect to go into a thread about the Worst Songs from the 2000s and see Mr Brightside mentioned.

Each to their own opinion. I think it's the best song ever.

Mr Brightside is my least favourite song of all time. So we can all agree it's quite divisive at least!

I actually owned Scouring For Girls' first album (in my defence I won it rather than bought it) but I have to say, I didn't dislike any track on it.

Blazin' Squad's Crossroads takes some beating for me. Such a dire cover with a cheap looking video, might as well have been any anoymous bunch of annoying lads from any high school doing bad karaoke. I'll admit they had some better songs later in their career though.

Also Spiller's follow-up Cry Baby, absolutely appalling noise to me with a terrible use of sample, the complete opposite to Groovejet.

Would 'Mr Brightside' be as divisive if it wasn't quite so ubiquitous though? I mean, I liked(d) the song but I'd be so glad to never hear it again in my life at this point.

I was always much more of a 'Somebody Told Me' man anyway, if I'm being honest.

I've just listened to this as I don't recall it from the time, I suppose to try and see redeeming features in it - it has some nice production in places and that last 30 seconds or so is pretty groovy... but the whole song is a real mess. Those squeaky vocal bits throughout.

Why did he wait over two years to follow up with this?

I might have known beforehand somewhere but it had slipped my mind 'Crossroads' is a cover :o

That would be a good shout for one of the worst songs though for me too.

He is a musical ABOMINATION and stole food right out of VB and her children's MOUTHS by purposrfully sabotaging her career via press hate
