So many Scottish actors have appeared in Doctor Who over the years, both in major regular/recurring roles, or in single episodes, leaving their stamp on the show at the same time (some more-so than others).

Who, from the poll above, is the most iconic of them all though? :o We have companions, enemies, and one-time friends all mixed in there, but who left the biggest impression on you, and who just... shouldn't have turned up at all?

Jamie McCrimmon a shocking omission. He appeared in more episodes (117) than any other companion.

I've gone for Karen Gillan but more based on her role in the Jumanji movies than the few episodes I watched of Doctor Who during her era
I think Chibnall would have given us a female Doctor anyway but Michelle really did help the audience through any transition by smashing through any idea that it couldn’t work. She’s my favourite actor to play the Master

Close between Amy and Jack but has to be the latter really, he's been there the longest after all, Amy would certainly be the hottest xo

John Barrowman is Scottish? Definitely went for him, I suppose followed by Karen Gillan and Michelle Gomez.

I really liked Adelaide Brooke as a character. It's a shame we never got any more of her
