The hardcore S Club fans know a lot about this song - it was frequently heard soundtracking more emotional scenes across the Viva S Club series, but it didn't feature on the final album, or even as a b-side. Fans were crying out for its release for years, and finally, in 2015, it was included with the Best re-issue for the comeback tour.

 

 

I think this would've made a really nice addition to the Seeing Double album! Really cute track, I actually remember hearing it back in the day with the TV show but hadn't considered that it never got a release. So pleased we have it in full now though!

The holy grail of unreleased S Club! It was nice that they (and the label) listened to fan demand and released it. Certain other groups are not so generous (cough, Spice Girls <_< ).

 

I have to be honest, I wasn't exactly clamouring for Rain myself... so I didn't give the song much of my time. In fact I only played it twice in May 2015 and hadn't listened to it since then... :lol: ...until just now! :magic: It's a really nice track, I should have given it more attention.

I remember being a bit disappointed when it wasn't on the tour setlist! In retrospect it probably would've taken away a setlist slot from something like Viva La Fiesta so I'm not too gutted if that would've been the case, but still!
