God I miss the Q4 sales of old!

I wonder why 'Tangled Up' didn't achieve the kind of mammoth sales their other albums did over Q4? Especially with such a radio hit like 'Call the Shots' promoting it. Funny how it had better longevity than most of the others, achieving nearly as many sales in 2008 as it did in 2007!

The days when #23 would sell 54,000 at any time of year seem so unreal now.

I miss those days too!

I also find it curious that Tangled Up Q4 sales were a bit of a dip compared to WWTNS/Chem/TSOGA/OOC at that time of year. I wonder if Polydor/Fascination were a bit underwhelmed by how Tangled Up performed initially? That album's saving grace seems to be that it held up well in 2008, as you mention @Liam.k.! Whereas WWTNS and Chem were way more frontloaded.

I still think Tangled Up is regarded as a very successful era for them which set them up nicely following the GH and Out Of Control.

I think it's the era that really got radio on their side as well.
