MF Leaders are more special :P :lol:

 

No seriously. MF Leaders and OF Leaders can see all secret areas, MF Mods and OF Mods can just see the one. That's the only difference as far as I can tell B) It's to allow the mod team to be more efficient or something :unsure: The exact reason has been hard to grasp.

Aah ^_^ yeah saw these titles and new colour schemes etc lol and was confused

 

I like assumed everyone who was a mod had same status but like in one of the forums Jester is MF Leader but Pez is just listed as mod etc so had no idea what was happening lol and mushy/GRIMLY are both mods in News and there no leader and so on, very confusing :P

Well I'm sure Phil will be along soon to clarify. Basically, ignore the word "leader". It's just a different phrase used so we can have different permissions for different forums I believe.

 

I'm rambling now so I better go and let the experts do the talking! :lol:

Nah you have explained great ^_^ just saw all these new colours and fancy titles lol and my curiosity got the better of me ^_^

So do OF/MF leaders have other tasks to do to with the forums or just the same? :unsure:

the OF Leader group was made to give OF moderator's the chance to be promoted and have more say in how the site is run (by being given more access to staff forums). They also have access to both the Staff and Moderator Lounge's.

 

In addition we made a MF Leader group which has the exact same access as the OF Leader group.

 

The OF Moderator and MF Moderator groups only have access to our main Moderator Lounge.

Now we've sorted this, can I request a new colour for the GM's? :lol:

I understand too now, and am no longer that bothered bout not having access.

 

But... I do feel that moderators of main forums who aren't leaders should have a colour of sorts, instead of just plain. :P

this was discussed. The problem is that if MFM and OFM have a colour then as they are normally more active than members we will have an online list full of colour...

Isn't there a way to make it just for MFMs like before? Perhaps orange or something.
